Yeah, Why? He does more damage than other GFs when you get him to LV 100- 10,000 Points Every Time! Yeah Its just one point from the normal Maximum, but when he does that damage Every Time He Is Summoned (without boosting!), It is worth it!
He is going to be one of the main GFs that I use when I fight Ultimecia!

Hmm, Leblanc was pretty annoying but then again, so was Rikku, at times though, not all of the time. Rinoa was pretty freakin annoying... completely useless.

At least Leblanc and Rikku could be funny whilst being annoying at times. I laughed at their stupidity. One of the reasons I could tolerate them.

But as for Rinoa... well, I wish that one would go away.... but I guess we're not always lucky enough sometimes.

((Aha, Eden does do a ton of damage on level one-hundred plus Boost. Marlboros' aren't that hard to beat.... even when leveled up with GF abilities to One-Hundred with Squall KO'd)).

None of you have any idea who or what I'm talking about, it is in one ear and Gravel out of the other.

• Gogo: Basically useless. By the time you get Gogo, Gogo's stats are horribly inadequate compared to those of the people Gogo is mimicking.
  
• Relm: Refer to first statement above. Painted moves are mostly ineffective against those who she got them from, and the harder enemies that require more *oomf* to kill don't offer anything worth copying.
  
• Cyan: Has potential. Attacks are solid and he is generally a force to be reckoned with. If you can wait long enough. by the time you waited for the bar to reach tier 8, anything that you wanted to kill would already be dead. When Cyan reaches the levels necessary for these moves, everyone else is at the same levels, and thus more useful.
  
• Strago: Requires Patience. I suppose I should put Gau here too. In order for him to be any good, you must venture across the world to have monsters beat the crap out of you. Or you could just stay in the Veldt. And have a myriad of creatures that you don't care about attack you before you can get to what you want. Although it may take a while, he can be worth it.
  
• Umaro: Uncontrollable. If you are a first timer, then use him to your hearts content. I don't say this in a demeaning manner, it is just that more experienced players know how to use status effects. Newer players prefer the beat-the-crap-out-of-them style of play, which is what I use. Now don't take this the wrong way; I have been playing for many a year, it's just that putting the opponent to sleep or muting him or anything else isn't very rewarding to my psyche. It feels cheap and low-down. Pummeling the crap out of them with Fists and Magic is much better on my soul. It gives me a fuzzy feeling inside. Nonetheless, I don't like playing Umaro because of the No_Control policy that he has. Which means no custimization with his equip's. If he has the Offering Relic and an Atlas Armlet, than I would have something to work with.

Kefka and Kain better not be posted in this thread anywhere, because they are Frickin' Awesome! And Setzer too, but that's because he looks badass.

I didn't hate Cloud's Emo-ness in AC. I hated Cloud, period! I hated his stupid hero complex! Barret needs to be baby-sat while he goes to handle Dyne?! Are you kidding me, Cloud?! And the way he got full credit for killing the big Gi spirit in Cosmo Canyon when everyone with him was just as much to thank? Gah! I wanted to gouge my eyes out! And taking it upon himself to decide that everyone needed to go off and think about what they were fighting Sephiroth for, despite the fact that EVERYONE ALREADY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE FIGHTING FOR?! JEEZ! Oh, and I hated his stupid, plot-dominating story! It was a well-written story, no doubt about it, but I hate that it put the stories of Barret, Tifa, Aeris, Red XIII, Yuffie, Cait Sith, Vincent, and Cid all on the sideline! And it got worse in AC, when he got ninety-five percent of the screentime, while the others only got the remaining five percent. All my favorites shafted for THIS tool?! Blech!

So, that's why Cloud's my least favorite character in the FF series.

Second place goes to Amarant from FF9. Did not see the point of him. His addition to the party seemed so . . . weird, forced, and tacked-on. Especially since the rest of the party didn't even want him there. And outside of his learning how a team works, I don't think he had much of a story. Hell, even Quina had more story than he did!

FF2 - Gordon. He was the birth of the annoying people in Final Fantasy really.
FF3 - None really. None I really dislike in this game, and lots of people I do like...
FF4 - Currently not liking Cecil's Self Questioning. If I get passed Ordeals my view might change.
FF5 - Eh..I've started a fair amount in this game and I like everyone so far...
FF6 - Locke in fighting sense. He was a thief, meaning only his speed would help when stealing things became near useless...and don't give me the final boss Ragnarok, and Atma Weapon junk XD. and his mourning for Rachel irked me occassionaily, but all is forgiven for Locke. He brought Celes .
FF7 - Cait Sith...how the f do you even say that name? and I also hate...hm...Tifa's Boobs. Square were idiots on that.
FF8 - Everyone but Quitis, Laguna, Edea, Ward, and Kiros. The rest could die...Unless Squall x Ultimecia is true. Then Squall and Rinoa live.
FF9 - Steiner was everyone's bitch in this game...so no for him. Quina however is the reincarnation of Cait Sith. So FF9 references FF7 even more!

FF Tactics - I love all of them. But if I had to pick the one most underserving of my love is Ladd...since he's a sellsword and joins you for no reason. But eh, you can make up an epic backstory for him.

Oh and Gogo Rocks. His Mimic ment a free blit from Sabin, and he could do Blitzs better then sabin woot!

Ok I don't know what some people here think FF is about but any1 who named Squall or Rinoa, go and f*** yourself. Those 2 Characters are what makes FFVIII the best of the series on PS2, and anything beyond that.

As for the most annoying characters, I would agree on Caith Sith, aswell as Irvine and Lulu.
Lulu is a complete mystery to as she's completely useless in battle apart from maybe first 10-15h. A few others I'd like to mention are Selphie, whom I personally consider a complete ****ing waste of space and time, since all she contributes to the storyline and battles is the Selphie card. Irvine is nearly as useless but at least he has a character.
Adamant and Quina from FFIX are pretty useless, but they contribute nicely to the CD3.
Also in FFIX, the relation between Zidane and Garnet is pretty much a copy of Squall and Rinoa. Doesn't make the monkeyboy and the princess annoying though.
As for X in General none of the Characters are the same as they used to be in the previous game...no surprise though since the story is based on SIN and the only one with a real connection to him is Tidus, who can be quite annoying at times, but that's just because he doesn't know ****.

I think you've gotten the wrong platform buddy. VIII was on the PSX/PSone, NOT the PS2. First FF on the PS2 was FFX in 2001.

Also, might want to ton down your language too. As you may have noticed by now there is a censor on words due to the factor of younger users and/or visitors to FFE.

The thing that pissed me off about Squall and Rinoa were: Squall had a complete personality reverse, he didn't give a crap about Rinoa... and Rinoa just uses people. Quistis even pointed it out herself, then SUDDENLY she becomes popular within the other characters. Honestly put, I rather Quistis than Rinoa because Rinoa is just suddenly THERE, sure she's within the opening as the female protagonist... but with the early introduction of Quistis in VIII it gives me other ideas.

OK psx/ps2/ps3 etc....alltogether I'd say everything from FFVII onwards is PS-age

As to Squall.....he didn't WANT to give a crap about anyone, because he felt it was the only way to protect himself from getting hurt...however with time passing he realises, that he can't deny what he probably felt for her from the very beginning....(Squall is not the type of guy who'd let just any1 drag him on the dancefloor). Rinoa however behaves just the way you'd expect the daughter of a General (I think it was general but, oh my it's some 5-6 years ago now) of the Galbadian army. She wouldn't know what true friendship and love mean...However she is desperate to prove herself, since she is weak though she can't do that on her own. I actually think the whole "blue owl" thing is just a well played act to show that. The utmost romantic part is how her attachment to him influences him more and more during their proceeding....It's just the love story of two completely different characters, without all the bs that you have e.g in FFX)
