Yeah, once you've played many Final Fantasies, you realize that there are a number of scenes that the whole game could do without.
Whether you think the thing with the paper in the rebel hideout in Final Fantasy VI (Or III, if you're playing the original), or it's that crazy optional scene in Final Fantasy X-2 where the gals get in their bathing suits and it looks like they're going to fight, but then they just splash eachother, and that's pointless because, due to bad graphics, they don't look wet. The scene that takes the cake for me is when Aerith dies. I mean, come on, hit her with a pheonix down, she'll get better! So feel free to complain about your least favorite/most loathed/most un-understandable scene.

You may not appreciate the X-2 main cast gettin their splash on cause your not old enough :P. And for the record, their have been multiple cases of characters dieing forever, in the series, even with the use of phoenix downs. Telluh used meteor in IV which exhausted his life span. He died, unlike all the others who "fake died". Galuf pushed himself to the edge to beat exdeath. He died, even after his friends blatently used phoenix downs elixers cure and arise spells on him, all in vayne. Apparently, there is away to permanently die in final fantasy. Maybe it's because Phoenixdowns revive "KO'ed" characters. Aerith was stabbed TOO DEATH. General leo was burned TOO DEATH. And their deaths created emotional justification to kill the "enemy". I have never seen a pointless scene in the series, thank you.
