What is your most hated and mose loved Mini-Game in the Final Fantasy Series?
Worst: Final Fantasy VIII - Card Game This is my worst because it bored me. I could not get into this game at all. I never even figured out what the darn numbers were for, ugh! Best: FFX - Blitzball I loveddd Blitzball! It was fun to play and just addicting once you had gotten use to it. Best mini-game that FF had ever thought of. ![]()

Worst: FFX Blitzball.
a shallow, poorly thought out mod of the battle system. lame in every way and not worth anyones time. imo. Best: FFVII Chocobo Breeding/Racing. totally took over my life for about 7 months. rewarding and fun at the same time. far superior to bloody card games and treasure hunts. |

Worst: That ****ing butterfly minigame in FFX. It was even worse than Blitzball. Srsly.
Best: Uh. Honestly. I can't think of a single minigame that was actually enjoyable, unless you count the Beast Arena in FFX, but that was more of a sidequest than a minigame. I still haven't played FFVIII though, and I hear the card game in that is actually rather enjoyable. |

for the worst i have to chose butterfly minigame in FFX to get Kimari's Ultimate weapon, it took me so long before i finaly won that game.
best : battle arena of FFVII . i don't realy remember any mini-game were i sat down and just the slots before the battle were exiting. and when you had a crap effect like frog etc. still trying to Win agains a titan or malboro. NICE :d (later at higher lv it was to easy) |

I didn't like FFX's Blitzball because you had to learn all the moves, improve stats, etc.
I liked FFIX's card system. Though the game imo was pretty lame itself. The cards has elemental properties that chained attacks. |

Ditto.
FFVIII's card game made sense, and what's more the game was explained to you winthin the game. FFIX's card game made no sense, and was not explained, and as such most of my games were just a crap shoot, but worse, there was nothing to be gained by playing cards, unlike the card mod which got you some of the nastiest magic and items really early.

The motorcycle game in Final Fantasy VII annoys the hell out of me. That is my worst. Or maybe dodging lightning at the Thunder Plains in FFX. Damn. But I think that coin game in FFX-2 is the worst.
Blitzball is god compared to those ones.

Best: Triple Triad from FFVIII was a pretty good game although I hated when the Random rule was in effect and ended up with a **** hand.
Worst: The ****ing butterfly catching game in FFX, the avoiding the lightning bolts in the Thunder Plains came pretty close too. |

WORST: The part in FFX where you had to dodge 200 consecutive bolts of lightening. Tell me that wasn't irritating as hell!
BEST: Chocobo Hot & Cold. Final Fantasy IX. I loved wandering around the world trying to find burried treasure. It was so addicting! |

Worst - Blitzball - FFX. Dont get me wrong, if it worked like it should, it would have been great. But I had the problems of attacks not adding up right, so It ended up the enemy would ALWAYS get the ball from me, and every time I shot I would ALWAYS miss.
Best - Tetra Master - FFIX/XI. It was great on FFIX because you could challenge NPCs and all that, but it was better on FFXI because there were TONS of cards, and special playing griddy-majiggers.

Worst: Hmmm Blitzball on FFX-2, Card Game on FF9 was complete Bollox, Dodging Lightning on FFX, Doing that Butterfly **** on FFX. BUt what really ****s me off about that bloody Butterfly **** is its really hard to avoid if you just trying to catch monsters in Macalania.
Best: The best games were Final Fantasy 8's Triple Triad. That kicked ****ing ass because you could do it straight away and was simple and explained and was rewarding and helpful early on. OR Chocobos on Final Fantasy 7. The best chocobo game on the final fantasy series. Just kicked ass. FF9's hot cold was ok just a tad annoying.

Best: It would have to be Triple Traid from Final Fantasy VIII. The game was addictive, challenging and self-explanatory. NOt to mention the rewards from refining those cards in the end where wll worth it.
Worst. I would have to say Tetra Master from Final Fantasy IX. The game itself is great but the minigame was a complete rip of Triple Traid. I never truly got the game and the rewards were simply not amazing. But by far, Final Fantasy X had the most annoying sidequests. I never enjoyed Blitzball, the Lightning dodge, Chocobo race and Butterfly catch. Those were some wack minigames. : / |
