There's been another character confirmation for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: The Sealed Grimoire, and it's none other than Cid. QJ.NET (who gave a translated report originally from JEUXFRANCE, who got their information from Shonen Jump), reported that Cid will appear as a chief of a group of hunters, and somewhere in the game, will "save Luso from the claws of a monster." However, Cid already existed in the world of Ivalice in its predecessor as the Judgemaster, so we'll have to learn more about this game and its setting before we can make full sense of it.
No news of yet whether Cid will be a playable character like in its previous title. There is an available image taken from the JEUXFRANCE article. According to QJ.NET, the image may very well be Cid, but they're still not sure. But, hey, it's a new image all the same. And on a side note, it looks like we'll be seeing the entry of the Seeq as a playable race as well, as can be seen in some images of battle scenes from JEUXFRANCE. ![]() You can read the full article here at: QJ.NET Or you can read the original article at: JEUXFRANCE |

Of course it's inclined. But it's nice to hear what role he'll be playing this time round. Myself, I think the design is a little unlike Cid. The character designs this time round are a little off if you ask me. It's not totally confirmed that this is Cid after all.
But the big question, a Cid already exists in the FFTA Ivalice world, and that is the Judgemaster Cid. That must mean this will once again take place a totally new Ivalice. |
