CC: Ring of Fates Updated Game Information

A prequel to the underated Game Cube exclusive: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Ring of Fates expands on its unexplored Mythos as a DS title. The story follows two protagonists named Yuri and Chelinka, who go off onto the oh so cliche journey which leads up to the very important task of saving the world.

In the game, the four races present in Crystal Chronicles are to be present, as well as many other familiar cross overs. However, This title gives the game a couple of major changes.

1) the emphasis on the Crystal, will be much more blurred, meaning the chalice and its hassle to manuever around with it will be drastically lightened, and action throughout the game will be MUCH more fast paced. Not to mention that jumping will become a new factor to the spin off.

2) Multiplayer mode, which is both local Wireless and Wi Fi Capable, will delve into an important class system. Players can grow their characters on a choice of 4 Base classes: Warrior, White Mage, Black mage, and Archer. With this, players can also customise their jobs with support classes. present, are various old favorite jobs such as Dragoon, Ninja, Samurai, Dark Knight etc. To further customise your characters appearance, articles of clothing may be mixed and matched to give your avatars different looks, be it the strict appearance of the job your character is in, or to go crazy with custom clothing like the mog suit, or what appears to be halloween masks?

Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, has a schedualed release to NA in early 2008, so get psyched, cause this title may give its predessesor its deserving One Wing. :P

It sounds cool, I haven't played the otheer CC games but I just might get this one.

Thats because this is my first news thread that ive done Icy ^-^. Yeah, alot of people didn't like CC for odd reasons, but i loved it. I felt it captured the fantasy essence, and the gameplay was almost a prototype for the battle system change on XII.

I felt due to the lack of news posts regarding RoF (as well as news posts in general) I should write something about it.

Who has actually played the original Crystal Chronicals? Most everyone I know hasn't played it because they aren't losers and didn't buy Game Cubes.

I did, in fact, i originally had a game cube before the PS2. Lets not forget that the best of the series came from Nintendo's systems.
