Default More Chocobo Games

((My apologies for it being a late post, I forgot to post it after the Event)).

Square-Enix at their Virtual Members World (Beta Version) Event have announced another Chocobo game.

The game will be featured for the Nintendo DS Console, there may also be a link between this and Chocobo's Dungeon / Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon Wii remake.

I'll try and translate the title, as I do not recognize all of the Kanji used - sorry, this will be in what they call Rōmaji due to being unable to access a character chart on my PSP :

Chocobo to Maho no Ehon / Chocobo to Mahō no Ehon
Which translates to Chocobo and the Magical Picture Book, also known as Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales

And the second part is:

Majō to Shōjo to Gonin no Yūsha

Which basically translates to The Witch, the Girl, and the Five Heroes.

Meaning the game title is: Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales - The Witch, The Girl, and the Five Heroes.

The game itself will be taking place within the picture book itself, most likely the same picture book from the first Chocobo Tales game in which all of the Chocobos' were sucked into by the magic of the book. Instead, this time Chocobo and everyone else have been sucked into it, but there will still be elements in the gameplay to Chocobo Tales: Chocobo's Dungeon. The graphics are more in-depth than the first. This graphical enhancement is following from the Wii release of Chocobo's Dungeon.

This is carried over to the side of the Chocobo no Fushigina Dungeon Toki Wasure no Meikyū DS+

Chocobo Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon / Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon will be brought to the Nintendo DS, which will be centered on a storyline around Cid and the other characters whilst they learn.

The soundtracks for both of these additions of the Chocobo series have been rumoured to again feature remixes/arrangements of songs from the Final Fantasy series. For example of this happening in the Chocobo series I will list some songs that have appeared in the games, but remixed:

Chocobo Racing: Final Fantasy VIII Circuit - remix of Don't Be Afraid
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales - multiple themes
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales - Chocobo's Dungeon - multiple themes (including Chaos Shrine - one for you Garland!)

So I am expecting more remixes to appear within the soundtracks.

Chocobo Tales - The Witch, The Girl, And the Five Heroes site.

Chocobo Tales - Chocobo Dungeon DS+ site.

Here is the video from the Virtual Members World.

There will be pictures up soon.

((Also, my apologies if someone else has already posted about these with the links)).

XD Same here.

Thank you, I also noticed that - there may also be a connectivity between these Chocobo games and future Square-Enix Nintendo DS releases.

Really you would? I've been hankering to get my hands on Door Crawls, the Wii opening theme, and a couple others. I'll PM you a list if it's not to much trouble? x3
