The newest Grandia characters

The profiles of two new characters to be in Grandia III are now on the games official site. They go by the names of Ull, who is a teenage beastman, and Dahna, a beautiful young woman.

Ull lives in a village, in the hidden Valley of The Dragons, where the people there have acted as guardians for generations.

He is young and has quite an impulsive behaviour, this makes him become tired with the rules of the village and with his parents. He ends up leaving his village with his dragon Shiba to experience a more free life. Since Ull is a very impulsive boy, this can sometimes lead him into trouble, although he is also very loyal and good natured. He is also quite a social boy, as he has made friends with Alonso as well as Pilot King Schmidt, who Yuuki is searching for.

Dahna is a calm, collected and dependable young woman. She has been the head of her village for the past two years since the rather mysterious disappearance of her lover. Her first impressions to people new to the village tend to be that is a cold-hearted dictator, although those who are close to her say that she is the complete opposite. A kind and caring leader, easy to trust and place her faith in others. Dahna's uses special Tarot Cards that are imbued with fairy magic.

Grandia III will be available on the PS2 in Japan, on the 4th of August. No word yet of a release for outside of Japan.
