Final Fantasy XIII NA release date.

It's been a while since any news was posted here, so I thought I should mention that Square Enix North America has recently announced the English release date for Final Fantasy XIII to be March 9th, 2010.

The official site even has a snappy video to commemorate the years of Final Fantasy's legacy.

Ok so I'll make sure I have a ps3 by then. How about bundles? I'm sure that they'll make a ps3 FFXIII bundle, would it be worth it?

What's up everyone. I wanted to hear peoples take on the new theme song in this annoucement video. You can hear the song My Hands from Leona Lewis on youtube. The original Japanese theme song is Kimi Ga Iru Kara sung by Sayuri Sugawara. The song My Hands was not originally made for the game as the song is on Leona Lewis's second album Echo. I'm hoping they either edit the song to fit the game or change there minds all together and choose to go with the song that was made for the game instead of trying to appeal to wester audiences. Many things have changed with square since squares movie FInal Fantasy the spirits within. After the movie bombed, President Hisashi Suzuki steped down and Wada took over. Even the creator of FF Hironobu Sakaguchi and composer Uematsu have not had a strong presence since FFX. I'm not saying that the makers of FFXIII are bad, but Wada is calling the shots. If Sakauchi and Uematsu were doing this they would never put a song in their game that is not made for it. Don't get me wrong the song My Hands is not a bad song as Leona has a good set of pipes and the song is catchy, but to me it doesn't sound like an epic FF song at all unless they edit it in some way which I'm guessing they will since I doubt there is a reference to lightning taking a shower and putting on makeup lol. I really don't even like the Japanese version to be honest. My opinion. Kimi was made for the game, My Hands is a better song but not made for the game, and Wada needs to ask Sakaguchi and Uematsu to collaborate because Wada is not cutting it. Oh well just old fumes. Because of time, things change. What do yall think

well the video is very flashy and shows that they are trying to cash in on the Final Fantasy name. Final Fantasy will never be the same without Uematsu and Sakaguchi
