News seems to be overflowing over the past few days regarding Revenant Wings. Boxart and a new DS Lite have been revealed by Square Enix. Courtesy of the Gamebrink website, a new trailer of gameplay has been released today for your viewing pleasure. Click on the source link for the video and enjoy! It has to be said, for me anyway, the video quality leaves a lot to be desired, but if you can get past the lagging then its all good.

I really like the game design and I'm a huge fan of that game art. I'm not to keen on the battle system though, it looks a bit sloppy.

the storytelling seems pretty ok.. but the gameplay is.. eww.. i guess thats what happens when u take PS2 technology gameplay and try to squeeze it into the DS.

It looks very bad. Choppy, not fluid, slow, overly-chibi. Not exactly characteristic of the FF franchise in any way. i hope its better than this.

Not terribly impressive, to be honest. I don't mind the chibiness, the the pace of battle seems ridiculously slow. It's kind of unfortunate, really... I really liked FFXII.
