Fire Emblem is a strategy/RPG that has graced the systems of Famicom, Super Famicom, Game Boy Advance, and GameCube and very soon to be the Wii.
Anyone a fan of the turn based strategy games? What has been your favourite FE game so far and are you looking forward to the Wii installment. Theres some various Vids for you to see if you click on the link for the upcoming Wii game: http://www.qj.net/Fire-Emblem-Goddes...g/49/aid/84059

The Fire Emblem series is awesome. I've never played any of the Japan-only ones, but I have played the original North american Fire Emblem and also The Sacred Stones on GBA, plus Path of Radiance on the Gamecube. They're brilliant. Looking forward to Goddess of Dawn coming out, but there's no release date yet, is there?

Mean bastard.. You're evil Dave! Anyway, trying to stay on topic...
I haven't ever beaten a fire emblem game but I've heard that they're pretty awesome. I did have some save data on my computer of a FE game that I was planning to beat before my sister deleted my profile on the computer. I also remember wanting to play Fire Emblem: The Path Of Radiance very desperately before I trashed my cube. ![]()

Only played the two GBA games although I usually play the Advance Wars games so not completed either, same sort of thing with the home console versions since I usually play Disgaea. Good games though and the whole thing about permanently losing units if they die is pretty cool too.

Advance Wars is pretty similar. I've only played the DS one because for awhile I thought that was the only one that existed. I have the first two on the GBA now but haven't played them. I still think I prefer FE for storyline reasons, but AW is great, too...
