I'll be getting this too, even though the quality is not as great as it was at the beginning the games are still very enjoyable.

The graphics in the game don't get to me that much tbh although I do wish they would sort out the crappy audio, it's the designs for each generation of Pokemon that I don't particularly like.

yeah every year it's just kinda random. But it does show pokemon is ever changing. (if that even matters at this point..???

Yeah but the graphix could at least been like the graphix for gcn or somethin. although the moves like waterfall,or earthquake are more detailed.

I don't mind some of the designs, its the names that bother me most, they're just words smashed together instead of something a little more whole like before.

Is it worth buying? I liked the last two, Ruby and Sapphire but they were both very easy. I know the target audience is of a child but I wished they made them a tad more challenging than being able to button bash and not use any strategy to complete the game.

You can't button bash you're way through a pokemon game!.... unless its one of those cruddy spin offs.

Pearl and diamond are looking good, day and ngiht are back from gold and silver which will bring some variation to catching etc, the moves are split slightly differently so it'll be a lot harder to form strategies, and you can play via wi-fi so if you don't find the gyms as challenging, you can at least battle other people out there that know what they're doing etc.
