Gears of War: It's cool to play in single player and online mode, which makes Rob glad he's only got one leg, otherwise I would of cut it off by now.

Oblivion: It was good whilst it lasted but after completing it gets boring, still a new thing for me thats why I liked it.

Rainbow Six 3: Vegas: Not too keen on the single player but the online mode is great and a right laugh when you get into it.

UNO: It's UNO, need I say more?

NetHack - Because it has the deepest and most immersive gameplay of any game I've ever played, despite being completely text-based. It's challenging as hell though, and I don't expect I'll be able to win it for at least another year.

Devil May Cry: This series of games I've really enjoyed (well, not so much 2). The gameplay I find fantastic, definately need to be fast and furious with the buttons. I also enjoy the characters as well, although I certainly wouldn't consider the games plot driven. Ah, as the title of my 5th anniversary DMC artbook says it's "stylish and cool"

Silent Hill: I only recently got into this series of games, but I've really been enjoying playing them all. I was expecting just to be scared out of my pants when I played them, but I found there's actually quite a bit of interesting psychology going on in some of the games (especially 2), and they still scared the pants off of me. I actually found the gameplay more enjoyable than I expected, especially solving all the puzzles. And Pyramid Head is just awesome.

Hitman: Blood Money - everything about this game is improved. even though i thought contracts had an awesome engine, this beats in hands down. the ability to throw knives and plan even more awesome ways to kill people makes this the most immersive action game i've ever played.

I haven't been able to stop playing Resident Evil 4 lately. Everything about the game is just awesome from the controls to the graphics to the audio, it's just an excellently done video game.

Guilty Gear X2:
Well, I've loved this game for so long... it's one of the, if not, best fighting games out there. The characters are awsome the gameplay is outstanding.

Legend of Legaia:
The best RPG out there. I love the story, I love the characters especially. It's a great game, my favorite and always will be. The graphics are... "mehish" but the outstanding story and gameplay fix it.

Old school rpg's

Phantasy Star 1-4 - Just great games that got me hooked on rpg's

Lunar Silver Star and Eternal Bule - Still probably my favorite games of all time. I can't wait til they release a Sega CD emulator for Mac.

Timesplitters 2 and 3, most addictive console games to me. Perfect gameplay for a console shooter, years of fun in the multiplayer, and always good for a drunk evening with friends. This **** gets never old.

My favorite games:
1. FFX - Becasue it had to be the best game I had played all year, or two years for that matter.
2. KH2 - It was the game of the year of 2006 on my list.
3. Burnout Revenge - It has got to be the best Burnout yet. With it's new crash mode modifications, and better graphics and cars.

Apart from the Final Fantasy saga, I kinda enjoyed the Drakengard series, even though most people in the world haven't even heard of the title, the gameplay was a bit limited, but not forced. This happened in both I & II. Along with creativity galore (Apart from the world map in DrakengardII, it's an upside down map of Europe) and pretty stunning visuals for such a large game, with absolute movement in all areas.

Also, the KH series, the battle system is heavenly, or at least close to it.

Gears of war: I hate you Jak.

Oblivion: I've only gone a little bit on the main story line, too busy with all the other loads of quests out there.

Fable: Probably one of the best regular Xbox RPG's out there.

FFXII: honestly I loved it.

Xenosaga episode 3: Made up for everything that the second one screwed up on and then some.

My favourite games I've played recently have been:

- Resident Evil 4: Just completely godly in how it successfully pushed the franchise in a new direction and made it so much better because of it, awaiting the next installment with great expectation.

- Shadow of the Colossus: One of the best experiences in gaming I've had in a while and each of the Colossi fights were fantastic in their own right.

i must mention the masterpiece of gaming that is Max Payne 2.

everything about the game is godly, from the noir-ish comic strips to the 1337 gun play and rag doll physics engine.

nothing beats staying up all night and completing it. it gets better every time.

My favourite game ever is Super Mario Bros. 3. They don't make em like that anymore.
