The Elder Scrolls Oblivion, any advice ?

With the 360, PS3 and PCs being as advanced as they are today, such a feat might be possible. Though the development time, as you said, would be quite long.

And EoT, smart move waiting to buy Shivering Isles, you just got the game, you have no need for an expansion yet. Hope you have fun and get lost in Cyrodiil's vast landscape a few times; I did.

I'm encountering a few problems with my copy. Sometimes when I accidentally kill someone or touch a item, the game freezes. I don't know why but it causes me to turn the computer off so it will work again ;/, it happens every time a guard catches me.

er, are you sure your comp is up to every standard? it sounds like you can run the game fine, but when there are more resource demanding moments such as interacting with certain objects and forced conversations such as when a guard catches you, the comp can't handle it and locks up.
i really wouldn't know what to do though; this is one reason i prefer console games.

It only happens when a guard catches me, I can talk perfectly fine to other npcs >.<

it's hard to explain, but it's more forced when the action is abrupt or unexpected like when someone else forces you into a convo. still, i hope you have more than enough required for the specs
