PSP anyone?

Two of my friends and I just got PSPs. We were compelled to do so because of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of The Lions, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and Final Fantasy Dissidia. Plus other non-FF games, like Jeanne d'Arc and Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron.
Who else feels persuaded to buy a PSP? The games I mentioned are all highly rated games and finally giving the PSP some fight. I'm sure that my friends and I are not the only Americans buying a PSP for those great games comming out, so I want to know if anyone here is buying one.

I will be buying one the second Crisis Core hits U.S. shelves. Between that and Dissidia, I'm convinced.

I would as soon as I already could. I mean come on. It's got some of the best titles on there. Like the Valkyrie Profiles and those FF titles. If only. I am so damn poor though. If I had any bit of money on me I would get me one.

i have one already, but its old and scracthed up a bit (i bought it in 05). anyway the new PSP lite looks nice. I plan on buying one as soon as FFDissidiai, Crisis Core and the PSP Kingdom Hearts games come out. But that wont be till 2008.

Im buying one a month or two after the games have come out. If i buy the psp and the games and a month later i find out they are creating something better i will be extremly annoyed.

I own the Silver PSP (I'm a retard when it comes to shiny things.) and although I've been rather disappointed by the RPG lineup especially, there are some good promises coming soon. Like the upcoming Castlevania game, Silent Hill Origins, and some role playing games which actually aren't using the PSP as a goodwill drop offs of crappy remakes or ports nobody cares about. Astonishia Story. Right.

There have been some notable games though, such as Infected and Valkyrie Profile, and finally, it seems the PSP is getting some much needed attention-I foresee a bright future. Right now, I'm highly enjoying Jeanne d'Arc.

Over the past few months, I've found myself wanting a PSP even more. The multiple FF games (the proper translation of Tactics) are the main reason. Most of the other games on the PSP are just stripped down ports of PS2 games, and that has plagued the system since it was released. Don't forget about the Kingdom Hearts game that's scheduled to be released on the PSP. SE's definitely going to drive some PSP sales now, and in the near future.

I have the star wars editon psp even though i would have preffered the Gundam editon. I Bought for titles such as Crisis Core, War of the Lions and other Rpg games along with shooters, and racing titles i havent heard about the Kingdom hearts game for it but when i see it i will probably get it

I agree with you God 10.0 lot of the tiles on the psp are just ports but if things go well the psp has a promising future

i also purchased the star wars psp. renagade squadren is a horrible game yes, but the psp slim makes up for that. cc is possibly the best game ever and war of the lions is fantasmical as well

Hm... I'm actually hoping to get a PSP when I get paid next.

- I'll be putting as many of the extra games Square released and/or that have been fan released (Triple Triad, Tetra Master... etc) on it as well as forking out money for the other games like Valkyrie Profile and of course Dissidia when it's released.

Got the Limited Edition Final Fantasy VII Tenth Anniversary PSP which was released with Crisis Core: - Final Fantasy VII -

... Like, last Saturday. But stupidly I forgot to buy a memory stick so I'm just going without saving the damn game. Must buy one and some more Final Fantasy games and probably Valkyrie Profile next pay week.
