So have you guys ever sung publicly? And if yes, what is usually the type of songs that you choose? Also, how drunk are you when you do it? LOL

Anyways, I’ve sang at bars and is soo much fun cuz everybody is drunk as hell and don’t care how bad you sound =P

I think I am decent when it comes to singing, and I enjoy it. Usually the songs I pick are like whatever they have there and depending on the mood I’m in. I’ve picked a variety of songs, like from Gwen Stefani, Evy, RHCP, Coldplay, Maroon 5, Shakira, Selena, The Cure and others I can remember at the moment.

Also, I have this thing from my cable company that provides Karaoke songs and sometimes we get together and hangout with my friends drink and sing. It’s fun as hell cuz we make fun of eachother and make bets about singing some crazy ass songs :P

So any stories you wanna share?

No, I tend not to sing publicly. It's not about being in front of people making an ass of myself, because I do that regularly no problem, but I can't sing to save myself :P

Sure, after a few drinks I might start singing, but I shut up before someone has to make me shut up!

I've sung publicly, but never with Karaoke. I sing for moneys sometimes, though I'm rarely the lead singer, and it's usually folk type stuff. (1.4.5.1) I cant stand karaoke due to the lack of real life musicians and the horrible horrible arrangements you always get. (They hurts me precious)

Then of course, there's the singers of Karaoke which are as often as not a good quarter tone under the key and always straining at the high nots, and my brain rattles unpleasantly from the disonance created.

I like singing, but I can't sing in front of people.

I always sind publicly, however, here it is pretty common for people to do Karaoke (obviously!) so yeah. I sually sing some J-pop number though, which is fun! :P

I won first prize in the 5th grade talent show for singing Feed The Birds from Mary Poppins. I also have sang in several high prestige choirs. but what I love doing the most is (privately) blasting my vocals to Skillet and Willet.
