I would want Azasuke Wind to draw it, lol HENTAI! j/p
I would like the Bleach style of art, dont know the artist, but the people look basic with distinguishing details in the face.

Considering that I do draw manga, there are actually a lot of manga that looks like the official artwork and after seeing the official manga for Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XII - it could be a possibility in the future other than that I would rather prefer it to actually match the official artists' style.
BUT, if I had to choose then I would probably say Shiro Amano who was the chosen artist for the Kingdom Hearts manga and their general production team as they actually know the games and try to not leave things out but that is also taking into consideration that Tite Kubo (Bleach) Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto) are both still working on their own productions which are so freakishly popular all hell would break loose if they stopped for a break to work for Square-Enix not to mention that SE has their own rival magazines such as GanGan variety, GFantasy and the likes whereas Bleach and Naruto are serialized in the JUMP magazines... so that would be considered as a breech of contract to suddenly start working for a rival company... Mind you, another artist/author that could keep to the stories would be the guys that did the Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles promotional manga - Author: Miyazaki Masaru and Artist: Matsueda Naotsugu who were not given a set contract, it was a single job one. But, it is a good idea to keep in mind some of the fan-made ones (mainly from Japan)... they do REALLY good jobs and will stick to the original style, combining it with their own. I was reading one the other day an adaption of Final Fantasy VIII and it was extremely good, and to stop any size issues the artist did it in a few books and then made it into a set. ((Also, for that Chaotic - not for this topic but I will answer it - it's safer to get an account on E-Bay and go through PayPal in case anything happens such as a fake auction not to mention until Sony has finished up on their patch creation to try and solve the backwards compatibility issues (and/or the lack thereof backwards compatibility all together for some models, mainly the new ones) then it would be best to try and find a 60Gb, however seeing as they are no longer in production E-Bay and other auction sites will be your best bet and E-Bay is actually a tad more secure than most around. So, that's a yes from me to create an account)).

I am not being a party pooper, I am being a realist considering quite a few things (as I actually am an artist of variety, not forgetting a few others things at that).
Well, like I said - they have different styles and SE have particular tastes in who they have on contract for their magazines and other subs, and quite a few styles of popular Manga-ka are not really seen nor considered to be fitting by official staff members (of the development divisions, public relations/publicity/marketing...etc). To simply choose an artist because of them being popular due to their work could actually go against them in the long-run if a manga was to be put into production. This was easily seen with their previously made official manga, and on the occasion some releases when pre-ordered have had bonuses such as said manga with them depending on the circumstances.

Final Fantasy XII has a manga, so does Final Fantasy XI. There are plenty of good fan-made/unofficial manga though, to fill in any gaps or to give someone a quick walkthrough the story of particular games.

I don't know what I find more shameful about that post... The fact that you refferenced him, or the fact that I know who you're talking about. T.T And this thread Aint' dead. You just necro'd it so ha! Personally, I would LOVE for artist Yoshi Amano, whose done concept art for the series since game 1, to do a mini book series on the games. I've seen him illustrate Neil Gaiman's Sandman chronicles, and it's just gorgious! If he did a Manga series (Even similar to Gatchaman G force) I would totally have a fangasm. Fav Artist!

Wikipedia Link AMV with Mitternacht (Just because I was looking for the song for AGES). Original Japanese trailer for the 1985 Vampire Hunter D movie VAMPIRE HUNTER D! He didn't write it, however he's provided all illustrations and has lead for the anime and movies. *Ahems* Sorry, my Father loves the 80s and for as long as I can remember we've always had at least one old recording of Vampire Hunter D in the house, I have to get the DVDs and the Manga myself.

I was just going to mention Vampire Hunter D!
I knew he did the original concept art for it, but did he actually illustrate the Manga aswell, or did the artist just try to mimic his design and style? Ah, the 80's... Even in Japan they had that kind of music. Bampiya Hunta.... DEE!
