I said that none of the videos had me in them. But you can scarcely see me in some of them. You can see the back of my Helmet in the crowd during the Thriller video, and you can see brief periods of me walking in the side lines near the front with the Nazis

How long does it usually go for?

We did run into some Budhist monks passing out pamphlets. About 1500 zombies walked by them, and they didn't even bother with us, just laughed.
We also walked by alot of bums on the street and, again, "Zombie no have wallet"

The event usually lasts from 1- 3:30 in the afternoon. Sometimes it's longer as we've taken different roots around the city before. After the walk, there are prize contests. This year we were sponcered so the group was larger, had a bigger budget, and we got escorted by police on horseback.
There's also the unofficial after events. Sometimes people hold Zombie themed festivities all week, I knew there was an independant zombie film festival right after the walk.
The thing is since it doesn't have a designated date of when it happens, since zombie walks are held on a random day in the summer, it's difficult to organize a rather large schedual of events at once.

Oh, that sounds fun to do. They kinda do that for Halloween for the kids here; a giant walk around town together to earn lots of candy! :>
I have my brothers work extra and get me candy. I usually stop em at the door and take the bag like a bully lol

I wish we had something as cool as Zombie walk. My father and mother watched a show about it. They said it was getting larger and larger every year, that it might soon be a holiday. I hope so, that would be the best holiday ever!

You're the one in the Thriller video to the bottom right? Were you the only one there with a helmet on?

... Oh. Lol for a second there I thought you meant that your town actually Hiers a Giant to walk around with the kids to insure that they get optimum candy from the houses. xD


Exactly, the Zombie Walk is growing bigger every year and more places are doing it. All you need to do is get some friends to start the event and I swear to zombie Jesus the event will grow from there on, provided religious freaks aren't around

Yep, I was the only one there who wore a Tin Helmet. By the end of the day you could roast a pig on my head! I atleast deserved a prize for that!

Hehehe, no. I'm not even close to being a giant either. I'm short than my two and five year younger brothers. I still take their candy either way. lol

Well, hopefully someone hear will get it started. I don't think we'll have a problem with religion, well, the Jehovah witnesses come here a lot

Well, you wouldn't believe how hot cans and tiny pieces of metal in Kentucky can get. Me and my brother poured pancake batter on our wooden steps and it cooked in 2 minutes.

Did you get a prize? You showed them your helmet, right?

Yeah I got nominated for like three awards, but only one got called up: the best Shuffle/ moan award, and I lost to some chick in a gas mask. Though even I admited she sounded creepy as hell, like a silent hill zombie or something. O.o

My friends in the Nazi outfits Ironically won the prize for best in show/ best couple for wearing all black pleather.

Shuffle. As in your zombie body movement.
She kind of sounded like a Higher pitched version of the Grudge monster yes. Only amplified by the gas mask which made it sound all the more creepy. Plus she had boobs, and the contest was judged by round of applaus.

They were "Zombie Nazi's" so there ya go. :/

I had a pre production creep factor idea for my costume . I found this mask at a store which was essentially a white neutral expressionless face mask, but it looked so neutrally befitting on my face that it creeped everyone out when I wore it. Then i just started roaming around with a high pitched british accent spouting "Are you my mommy?" and they beat me down to the ground it was THAT creepy.
Idea was shelved.
