OK! So I pretty much tried every trick in the book, every trouble shooting info page on the net, practically worthless. Complete Gobbledeegook!!
What I'm saying here is, Recently I had Future Shop install a router into my house. They also installed my PsP and Ps3 to have access to the internet, which as I so far am aware, works fine. However, when I got to the part about my DS and it's Wi-Fi capabilities, he said "Oh, DS and Wii internet services suck" and then pretty much blew me off without installing my DS's connection. I had to learn by myself that my DS' Connection varies from game to game, and I have to set up it's WiFi on each one. But that's not what's happening! I try scanning the area for a Wi Fi source, it says my security settings don't allow my DS to access the area. I try manually inputing the code, but it doesn't recognise my WEP key, I try dirrectly accessing my Router's settings, and I can't navigate throug it/ it doesn't tell me anything usefull! I need help with this! It's three days before Dissidia comes out and I want to do FF III's Mognet sidequests! Which are impossible without WiFi! Dammit!

If you can't access your settings in your LAN or WIFI, its your only choice sadly.
Maybe someone with a WII and DS/DSi could help you better...who on this site has one? |

I might be able to help ya...if you give me access to your router HAR HAR HAR
No seriously though, I use WI-FI everywhere, work, home, Countryside...it's most likely a matter of the router settings...so if you give me the manufacturer and product-nr I might be able to help ya...not too sure anyways. ![]()

Garland, FFIII's Mognet quests aren't really via internet connection. You just need to send messages to friends. If you reset the DS clock to be a day ahead, and have a friend or someone nearby with FFIII you could get the Mognet quest open without having to set-up the Wi-Fi connection. ((That's just going off my memory that there was another way to do it)).
FFIII has a little bit of a hissyfit sometimes when you try to set-up the Wi-Fi, like the friendcode it gave me wouldn't work. XD

Well then I guess EoT has that same Hissyfit because neither are working for me. You see I havn't even got a friendcode because I can't log in, not even once!
As for friends that have an FF III cartridge lying around that's even harder! I got no friends that play or have played the game. So the best solution is to find someone's friendcode on Gamefaqs or something, and message them 7 times. Problem is I can't seem to get recognised. If anyone knows how to access and navigate a D-Link Router, please be my gues and help with my security. Then again, I made them make the security tight for a reason, so If I allow the DS system to access it, will that shut down all other security?

Alright, I'd pretty much allow your DS' access. Pretty much, if you open it for a moment, scan and your DS recognizes it - put your DS onto your "Accepted port number" (which is basically the DS' wi-fi connecting to your computer) which will ONLY let the DS in with your firewall and router combo. If you need a friendcode, I don't mind giving out mine for FFIII.

I'll try doing that... If I can somehow access it's security.
That would be great if I got your friend code. Because that way it would have more than one benefit ![]() Also I'm going to call future shop tommorrow. Can't seem to find it.

I have it up, and sent you a PM, but your FC isn't working. We also have to exchange FC's, so at your Final Fantasy III DS battle stations all! I want to complete these sidequests by tonight!
I also welcome all users' friend codes who are willing to help me out on this.

It'll say Jap-serial number, US/USA/Amer-serial number, UK-serial number or Aus-serial number. I hate this region issue, some UK versions will actually work with the US versions. Sorry Gar, gipped again by sh!tty Australia...

Well, regardless I decided to beat the game last night without the Wi-Fi missions. It wasn't as satisfying as the perfect game I was going for, but atleast I have some game complete data to show that I have beaten the darn thing.
If you do eventually move to NA, what will become of your friend code? Maybe we could finally add each other when that happens. :/
