Happy Halloween!

Hello ladies and gentlemen.

The majority of you are probably too old for this prestigious event, but I am forever young, and treat this holiday quite religiously.

In other words, what are your plans for Halloween? Costumes? Parties? Trick or Treating? Pagan gatherings?

do tell, do tell.

I for one have been cluttered with college work to even think about it, but i've come up with something pretty handy on the spot.

I also didn't really like it, but I do love the candy ^^

What were your plans, if collage didn't get in the way?

Well my Jupiter (me, some of my guardians and attendants, and two friends from school are doing a solar system theme for our costumes) claimed to be having a party but that's apparently been called off. So I guess I'm just going out trick-or-treating like normal. I did kinda want something new to do this year though. :\ I asked those two kids (Jupiter and Mars) what they're doing and they're like "I dunno" and I'm like "HOW DO YOU STILL NOT KNOW?"

I'm going to go as the moon. White dress, white tights, white facepaint, lots of glitter to represent moonlight, and a big headdress with a realistic-looking moon drawn on it.

I'm dressing up as death or a hooded cloaked black dude and getting candy with the younguns some parents cant take their kids due to work and I'll do a good deed and help them out those i can help and like of course then come home and watch saw1-5

I've always felt safe in my childhood when I was in the care of a cloaked black dude on Halloween night. xD

Well, my moon PHAILED. At the last minute, too. So I'm just going as a ghost. The moon phailed 'cause my headdress for it wouldn't cooperate so I was like "F this" and just went as a ghost...I had the white clothes and face paint already. The rest of my solar system was there except Jupiter and Mars...the Jupiter kid was in surgery and the Mars kid didn't have time to complete his costume. The rest of my solar system was just my guardians and attendants, who understood. So I was spared all the "WHY AREN'T YOU THE MOON?!" questions.

Two kids at school today went as Steve Urkel...it was HILARIOUS. They impersonated him, did his walk, the whole nine yards. xDDDD And then some kid was a cardboard box robot.

ETA: I actually scared some kids today. I leave my classes five minutes before the class actually ends 'cause I'll go crazy in the crowded halls otherwise, and so I was waiting outside my next class, and some kids from the class across the hall saw me and were all "AHHH HOLY CRAP ONE OF THE THIRTEEN GHOSTS IS OUTSIDE IN THE HALL!" xD So I stood there making lost soul faces and all.

I decided to go out this year as a steam-punk character of sorts. I had college work so I had to mish mash a lot of my previous costumes, But I thought the overall effect worked well. I handpainted a nerf gun to look steam-punk, the night before.

Also, I made an Awesome pumpkin.

I'm a steam punk (neo-victorian), arch villain-type character of my own creation (A la Garland)
Androidesque.

-I would of thought she was at the left of the photo, because that's where the light source is at (seeing as she went out as the Sun). I can't see anyone at the right, just an empty space.
But props for all the cool FF XIII posters in your room xD

I never understood Halloween... for whatever mystical reason I find it strange to send your children off to complete strangers and ask the daddys for some sugar.
But that might be jus' us eastern europeans known as the ****hole of the world where everyone is either a prostitute, the pimp of one or the dealer that sells the pimp crack to keep his hoes quiet. lol

Anyways hope ya'all had a good one (I didn't even know it was that time of the year until I saw this thread lol)

For my people, Halloween means much more than just Costumes and Candy smattle. It is the equinox of Samhein, the annual ritual of departing the dead and the living, where the spiritual paling is thinest, and one can converse with the afterlife.

Of course I am a very lazy Pagan, so often I just go out for the costumes and candy instead. :P
