Default Sucks to be in Europe....

Because we never got Chrono Trigger.

I've heard so much about this game now and I really want to play it. It sounds awesome.

Question is, how do I go about that? Is an emulator the only way?

I have a SNES, but obviously it's a UK PAL version.

most likely an emulator. That or you could try and buy a regular SNES and Chronotrigger off of eBay and get an adaptor for american products, if they have those in europe.

I just got it from an emulator which would be the easiest way to go about it.

There is an adapter that plays US SNES games on a PAL machine but getting Chrono Trigger itself will probably prove to be too expensive so you'll be better getting it on emulator.

true, true. I'd have to import a US version which would cost a shedload.

Looks like I'll have to finally learn how to work emulators. >_<

You would be better off just getting an emulator and getting the rom. Yeah, that sucks to be you guys. Most emulators are free though if you know what you're doing, screw legiallity.

Just get an emulator, trust me they're easy enough to work anyways.

Cool, I will, thanks. I'm determined to play this game.

I'm sure there's people here who could help me with the emulator if I get stuck.

I can help you with the emulator if you need it. I have SNES, Sega Master System, Genesis, and Playstation on mine right now.

Here is a good site to download emulators for SNES... http://www.zophar.net/snes.html

I use SNES9X for Mac and I have never had a problem with it. I believe there is a windows version also.

http://snes9x.com
http://zsnes.com

Both of these are pretty much self-explanatory when compared to PlayStation emulators. If you need a ROM, I have one somewhere on my computer that I can send you

www.zsnes.com is the best snes emulator ever. its how i played Trigger in the first place, then i bought it for the playstation.

oh and too bad europe didnt get this game. i'm surprised too since this is one of the all time best games ever and it should be released there.

even though i live in the U.S.A, i dont think its fair for europe to miss out on games like Trigger and wait months even a year before recieving certain games.

oh and a quick question for those living in Europe: How popular is Formula One racing there?i hear quite a lot of people watch it there. i also wacth it here but it isnt all that populer due to some other major sports. I can only imagine once the PS3 F1 game comes out there its going to sell well, thats assuming the PS3 sells well there. (which i dont expect it will).

znes is by far the best of the lot,

but the game itself is very much PEEEE UUUUU when playing on a emulator. Its just not the same. Its like playing streets of rage on one. You don't get the same feeling even when using a PS2 controller that to me is worse than being straight.

Chrono Trigger is the best RPG on the SNES, and of the 16-bit era.

I will never understand this "it doesn't feel the same" bullshiet, either. It's not as if you're playing a Street Fighter or something, it's an RPG.
