Technically, you can't play XII on a computer unless you're running a PS2 emulator. However since the graphics are rendered on computers, people do tend to call them "computer games". Stick to the topic please.

I think my next favorite FF game following VIII might be Versus XIII, once it comes out as it looks wonderful to me even during the development (plus, it and Agito both give me a mixed Final Fantasy VIII familiar-feeling).

I liked FFXIII too, I loved how they made it so when one of your characters is dyin someone else can jump in, that was awesome

cuz in FFXIII I used Aeris mainly as a healer and she ruled at it but then she died and it was like ah we're all screwed now lol

Nowadays, they're called video games now.

I think you're a tad confused... uh, VII? Aerith/Aeris isn't in XIII nor is XIII even out yet aside from the Blu-Ray demo that was bundled with Advent Children: COMPLETE.

Ah so sorry Lady Lamont I'm such an idiot I haven't slept in about 3 days so please excuse my nonsense lol but yeah that was meant to be a V I have no idea where that X came from! I do realise that Aeris is in FFVII and I was talking about how they changed the battle system in FFVIII, so apologies, I am away to drink 3 litres of coffee here to try and dispel zombie mode

I understand. Don't worry about it, I know the feeling.

I'm currently on edge for having a better look at Agito XIII, but it's going to be quite a toss-up once the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation is finally, completely released for my favorite Final Fantasy game after VIII. Still, I do love the combination of the battle system formats in the XIII demo which is going to make it even harder to pick them out now.

Well from what I read in P:TOM, XIII looks like it's going to be sweet. To keep it on topic, I'm guessing it will be one of my favorite final fantasies.

Sadly, it's also coming out on the X-box. I only have a PS3, and the FF series was always my biggest reason why PS > X-box. Ah well, now I'm off topic.

But even after their releases, I'm still going back and playing VIII and every single time the game feels brand new again, every single time I play it I feel as though I just discovered the series over and over again...
It doesn't get old to me. Which is why it's my favorite FF game...

hmm.....I've been replaying: I, II, V, VI, VIII, X-2, and XII

i have at some point beaten: I, II, IV, V, VIII, X, X-2. (hmm.....less then I remembered.)

My goal is to have at least XII beaten by the time XIII comes out. I have about a year or so, (okay, a few months), but I'm not sure if I can get myself in the mood. (beating VI would be nice too)

Life is currently coming up quite a bit lately seeing as it's now summertime again so I can't play my FFs but I get what you mean. It's like playing it for the first time all over again except with a very good knowledge of what to expect and where to run. It kind of gets you involved when you think "DAMN IT. Don't do what I know you're going to do. It's going to get you killed." Or something like that. Of course that's how I am.

XIII looks good, but I think I might be slightly more partial to Versus XIII. I really wish Nomura would release more information (considering it's the KH team, they're going to let stuff slip fairly easily).

My favourite is 7, but I ain't no 7 fanboy. I love them all. 7 is just the first one I played. I also really like FF8 and 9. I think they're in the same league as FF7 cause they were the PS1 classic generation.

IV and IX are pretty much equal in my favourite Final Fantasys, but V was good as well.

VIII just didn't feel 'right' to me, XII was a disappointment, haven't played X/X-3, and VI just wasn't as fun as IV. VII was very good, but the game froze on me at the last battle, then deleted my save file, so that kinda ruined the experience for me

My first one was FF7. It was the first game that introduced me to the series, and it was very enjoyable. The characters, the storyline, the music, everything about that game is awesome, but like Red Cloud, I'm not a fanboy either. FF6 was equally as good as FF7 was, especially with that crazy Kefka. And I also liked FF5 too.

Final Fantasy X is the best I think. The storyline, music, and enemies are all amazing. It's the first FF game I ever played too, so it's sentimental.
