Looking forward to FF13?

I may not buy FF13 because PS3 = too much money... also, the slow drift Square's been making from neat and involving games into eye candy has me a tiny bit skeptical. I guess I kinda like those old games with old school sprites and no voice acting, it lets you use your imagination and gets you more involved. Still I am a little curious about FF13 and related games.

Dude, man, Final Fantasy XIII will be awsome. I have no doubt in my mind.

After a gap of awsome Final Fantasies (Last awsome one: 2001, Final Fantasy 10) where we get only a ton of useless remakes and spinoffs and Final Fantasy XII, which was good, but it didn't feel like X where you were like "THIS is Final Fantasy!", XIII has high expectations.

And don't fret because Hironobu Sakaguchi is gone; his recent games have been prooving to be either unspectacular (Blue Dragon) or Final Fantasy IV (Lost Odessy).

And I heard that the PlayStation 3 will drop down to $300 this summer, so you should consider one and check it out.

I wouldnt mind getting it, the graphics from at least what i have seen so far are pretty sweet
but what i am looking forward to is the story of the game

Well, I think FFXIII will motivate me to buy a PS3. I know that they cost alot, but it'll be worth it for FFXIII.

I would get a ps3 just to play XIII if i could. It would totally be worth the cost. Just like all systems out there, it starts out slow because not many games are released the same day as the system release date buy you wait till things like this come out and get the awesome stuff.

we rarely get non nintendo systems and we got a wii recently

what's funny is that every time i go to a gamestop, ebgames, or wal-mart and look for a wii, they're out of stock. i mean seriously, the PS3 is almost always there and on sale. The price drop along with XIII might attract some attention to it on XIII's release date. Who knows, maybe Sony might even put some kind of special offer on the PS3 with XIII.

FFXIII looks really great. But that's what I thought when I first saw fotage of Final Fantasy XII... and yeah....we all know how that went.
If XIII has a weak story just like the latest one, I will really lose faith in Square Enix.

Damn.......I want Squaresoft back..
