Is it ever worth saving? I mean, let's say we found out that an evil corporation was funding Obama to be president so he could ressurect and ancient evil and throw civilization in to the stars, would you gather up your closest friends and high-tail it to their base to defeat him? Is the world ever actually worth saving? What is worth fighting for?

I'd only save it for my family. But Obama looks real nice and smart, I doubt he is satan.

I'm just speaking hypothetically. I don't know if I'd have the guts that many of our FF heroes have to just leave everything and go on an adventure. Maybe if I knew that special items and inns were set out for me I might go...

I already have my own views on how the world must be saved, as there are indeed a few select institutions that are fundamentally detrimental to society and the world. And I would totally save it in a nonviolent and rational way if I could find enough people with the dedication to do so. But seeing as that will never happen, I'll just bide my time and hope for other opportunities.

I would totally be a Red Sage/Bard. Summoning would be awesome but goes against my non-religious beliefs. Weapons are cool but really the only weapons of use in the modern world are guns. So being a mage, and the best type of mage at that, would seem the only feasibly option. I'd Ultima their asses! And then I'd sing a ditty with my mandolin afterward. Ohohohohohohoho!

Yes, but if we had magic and weapons and such, and they guns, we would still win. Because we can cure each other and wake up from Ko'd.

But why use weapons at all then when you could just kill them with magic? Personally I'd never use a weapon, even if I had one, if I knew I could light my enemy on fire with a snap of my fingers. Wheeeeeeee!!!!!! Gore and Destruction!!!!!!!!!!!
