Oh well i totally loved that game, so if that's what the battle system is like then i would love to try it. The battle SYS in TOS was just absolutly great (Thats my opinion of course) So I'm sure i would love this battle system then.

its similar to tales of symphonia with some variation. the voice acting needs some improvement. and about the storyline.
i think its kinda weird how the storyline completly changes later on during the second half of the game. i mean completely changes into someting else. wats worse, in my opinion, is how pretty much everthing you do storywise for the first half of the game was for nothing in a way.
Yeah well me and my friend played it, and it was his, so I didn't know the story line to much, the spoiler you said doesn't mean to much to me, lol. But i always thought it was great all through.

I loved the game and pretty much all of the characters. I've played all 3 Star Ocean games and I really love the item creation thing... adding the "inventing" on this installment was genius as far as I'm concerned. My one big flaw is that I love most of the characters in all the games, and I always wished I could have all of them in my party instead of just a select few. (Why do I have to sacrifice Peppita and Roger for Nel and Albel? )

Favourites were definitely Nel and Albel.

QFT. Although I suppose one could GameShark them in, but still.

OMG THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!

Thought i finished it a while ago now i absolutely loved this game and never wanted it to end!!! I thought the storyline was great due to its uniqeness, the whole travelling and going across different worlds was great.
The gameplay was awesome. What I loved about it is you weren't restricted to playing as the main character, while the rest just supported you, you could actually play as whoever you liked ^_^ My favourite character by far was albel, cuz he rocks!! my favourite party was usually one of the four between Fayt, Cliff, Albel and Sophia, for 2 fighters and sophia for healing.

so...yeah totally awesome game!!

another thing i like about this game is the fact that you could still play even after you beat the game. there are so many sidequests to do its almost endless. only thing missing is an online mode to post all ur battle trophies.

That game sucked ass. Another excuse for 'Enix to say they created something majestic. The story was lame. Laughable at that. The plot never got to me. The music was so dry and boring. I never had fun. And that sorry of an excuse of a climactic ending just maybe wanna smash the game into pieces.
Why is God always a white guy? Why do you fight someone that is only established in the last hour of the game?

Recall the deeds as if
they're all someone else's
atrocious stories.
Now you stand reborn before us all.
So glad to see you well

Yes, this game was awsome. I have played the first SO and that one was pretty good but nothing like SO3 wich was a really good game overall. Cliff was by far the coolest guy :P and the ending was one of the besr ever.

eh... it was so so. overall tho pretty nice. I just didn't like the battle system where you could only choose like 2 or 4 different attacks. sidequests were really fun to do but far to time consuming. battle trophies just took up even mor time. the part about being time consuming is that for most of the sidequests and battle trophies you would need to be at a godly level before you can do the trophie or sidequest. like how
the sochen cave palace requires you to level up to like a minimum of level 90 just to beat your other self. and also how hard the ethereal queen and gabriel celestia is. did i forget to mention freya from valkyrie profile the "other" secret boss. yea it's all crazy. and also, you have to beat them without getting hurt, in a time limit and a bunch of other stuff. i'm telling ya it's just a level up game completely.
And that's Mr. AsS to you!

The main story, I found, was quite tolerable. Enjoyable for the most part and quite gripping, but it held too many voids in the game which left it easy to put down after a certain time. The battle system left nothing to be desired; had everything I wanted in a game such as this. Combined with the Synthesize f
