I don't think it was meant to be implied at that point in the game that they meant that literally; [spoiler]children have often been trained to call friends of their parents "uncle" or "aunt" even when they aren't related. It's kind of like how Celes calls Cid "grandfather" in FFVI, even though, seeing how she was genetically engineered, he can't possibly actually be her grandfather.[/spoiler]

i love maria from star ocean the game is hot except the beginning it took me sometime to get use to looking at their long legs lol

this game was great but it was also painful in parts. i didnt get extremly far and would like to play more but the characters die way too easily i was in this dungeon for hours and i just dodged everything i could see just because ugh.... anyway different from 2 but definitely not as good as 2 either. 2s storyline is amazing and i dunno i enjoyed the cheesy voice acting, i mean it still added so much to the characters more than the ff's on ps1 ever could because of the lack of voices.
