What do you think of Seifer from FFVIII? Was he a good character or did you not like him?

Personally I liked him. He followed his dreams (however blindly) and didn't take **** from anyone.
It would have been better if he showed up in the game a bit more. But apart form that I think he was a good character.

I thought he had a spell over him during most of the game...

He was a puppet, and did go after his dreams blindly. I have no problem going after your dreams but he allowed himself to be controlled. So I don't like him, big whiner and the only good thing going for him was that he had some friends that would stick by him no matter what. I think higher of them than Seifer, though they are pretty low if they follow blindly as well.

He was a fag, like every other FF bad guy.

I liked Seifer, a lot. He was a great antagonist and he just has this attitude I've been trying to copy for three years now, but I'm far too nice. He just has this aura about him that says: "Mock me, and I'll **** you up."
Seifer was badass. It annoys the hell out of me that you can't have him at the end of the game. Seifer was the Casanova of FFVIII. **** Irvine, he never got with the main character's girl. In all truth, it was actually, probably Laguna. But yes, Seifer was the Owesumeness of FFVIII.

Seifer is not a fag... why im sticking up for a game character i have no idea... but he was probably one of the most inluentual "bad guys" in the FF series... besides, Seifer and Squall are like... Light and Dark there pretty much brothers, so to speak.

As far as FF villains go, he was pretty class. Especially compared with Kuja; I hated that androgynous bastard.

Seifer was good because he did want he wanted and didn't care about anything else. Perhaps much of that was because he was a puppet, but he was still pretty decent.

Seifer was an alright villian. Though I didn't play enough of FF to be able to tell if he got better I found his character kind of bland. And the chicken-wuss comment was so...junevile. However his stance of being slightly cocky was amusing for a bit.

seifer was awesome in the begining, then he became different.he was all about being honourable and being a knight. in the begining of the game he was a rebel who did not take orders. i thought that was very gay.
