Who reached Lvl 99 in FFIX?

I wanted to reach level 99 in FFIX but I just didn't have the patience. The level I got to was level 59 on everyone and I finished and completed every boss.

I don't see the point in this game why they made the level cap 99 when you can beat everything at 45 and anything over it is complete overkill.

This is the only serious problem I had with FFIX, it was too easy.
I spent the time to level everyone to around level 99, but there wasn't really much point to it except to have a perfect save file. Then it got deleted about a month later anyway >.<

I think I gave up somewhere around level 62.

It just took way too long, and Ozma just wasn't the effort. ¬_¬

I made it to about 65-ish, and it was enough to wipe the floor with Ozma.

FFIX was terribly easy really, probably the reason why it's my least favorite third generation Final Fantasy.

i stopped around the 75-80 mark got too bored to get to 99

I got too bored to get to level 60, even. I hated battling at all in FFIX. The ATB took forever and a half.

And if you get the auto haste ability you'll barely have to wait for the ATB at all, I can't remember what item you get it from though.

its running shoes/boots and it really does help

i didnt even need to get to lvl 99. i beat ozme at like 45ish. by the time i got to trance kuja and necron i was maybe 48. you didnt really need to get a high lvl to win but it was just good to get everyone to it so you could equip more abilities, like auto-haste

level 99 takes forever, but since you split the exp(unlike VII) if you can rig your character with counter/eye4eye, auto haste, auto reflect and auto regen, and distract(if they have it)you can level up alot even just with Grand Dragons.you just have to fight alone.I did it but it is soooooo meticulous.

if you want only 1 person to get exp then either curse, zombie or kill them. also yans give a lot of exp so they help lvl you up 2, but they are lvl 72 each and u usually have to fight 3 at once Xo. but if you manage to keep a lvl 1 party member, then kill the 3 yans with only him in the party he gets like 48 lvls
