Now that we've got miss Square we may as well have the best summon of the game (all Final Fantasy)... in my opinion the beste, best in Ifrit, the mighty beast that don't fear a thing... in other hands we have Shiva, the most beautifull aeon (or GF...) of all the summons... Send your opinion... then I shall tell who wins...

Ifrit probably fears Shiva and vice versa for obvious reasons. I say fear but i mean to say weakness i suppose.

My vote goes to Doom Train, for nothing more than the fact it was a train of....DOOM

I agree about the final fantasy 9. Even tho u cant summon it urself, It looks cooler Than any other summon. I have to say that Final Fantasy 10 Yojimbo is Pure Ownage.

It's obvious that Bahamut is the best Summon throughout all the FF games he appears in. Big Dragons are instant win.

Big dragons can be instant wins attually. ive noticed that on each FF game, dragons are the best there is:

Bahmut Pwns
Doom Train Pwns
It pwns end of

I think Ifrit is one of the more lacklustre summons, his best incarnation being in FFX. You get him early on in the games, so it's due fact that he's one of the weakest.
To quote Vaan saying: "the mighty beast that don't fear a thing," in FFVIII doesn't he say "Oh no, they have Shiva!" when confronted with her in the Fire Cavern? Methinks so. And I can imagine him backing down from a fight.

My nomination: Mr Bahamut.

I like Doomtrain, often using him to kick off a battle despite the poor damage (before switching to the token Limit Break / I-have-high-stats-so-I-can-afford-to-remain-low-on-health strategy).
