My favorite part...I'll need to replay IX again since I haven't played it in a while now.

I kinda liked when on Terra Zidane is like struggling and like the other characters try to help him. I forget what the place was called. The music at that part was sick.

The whole sequence on Terra, from your party's arrival there to the You're Not Alone sequence, is one of the finest moments in any videogame I've ever played.

Pandamonium Castle - One of the great parts in FFIX.

My favorite is a tossup between Zidane and Kuja. Zidane because I just liked his attitude, he was fiercely loyal yet at the same time completely free, obsessed with pretty women, NOT a quiet depressed psycho, and pretty funny. His attitude is quite similar to mine so I took to him instantly. Kuja becuase he was very cool, in a cold way. It was a hard role to pull off but the creators did it very well. Not to knock any of the other characters, FFIX has in my opinion the best character development out of any FF I have played.

Nonetheless, I must say that Beatrix is my fave, cool chick. Very mature, strong and beautiful...I can totally relate (well not the beautiful part, lol) love her personality and her theme song is one of the best this game has; Nobou did an amazing job complimenting her with such majestic melody.

I loved all the charasters in FF IX. But I would have to say Vivi was my favorite.

Ouchie a tougie one...hmmm I liked Zidane i guess he always would do something for Garnet which I think is very sweet and he has a real friendly friend kind of attitude which i think is tres cool!.

I liked Freya. She has a unique character design and comes from the tragic city of Burmecia. Not to mention her class as a Dragoon Knight is awesome. The little arc where she dragged Zidane and comapny around the Mist Continent was one of my favorite parts of the game. <3

My favorite character would have to be Mog. I liked the way Mog sacrificed herself to protect Eiko, and I also just like Moogles. Other than that though, I'd probably have to say I like Zidane because he's the best main character in the FF series by far. He did so much, only went Squall/Cloudish once in the game, which turned out to be the best scene.

So yeah, that being said my favorite sequence is the Terra one where your party comes to help Zidane. My second favorite would have to be when you play as Regent Cid.

I also can't believe no one mentioned Garland, he was freaking great.

Vivi has to be the best character in the game. He is so innocent and cute, I felt so sorry for him when his Black Mage friends fell off the airship beacuse of the Balck Waltz III. It brought me to tears

I loved FFIX just because it was so different. FFVIII had this quiet, tough guy Squall and here you have this small guy with a tail, Zidane as your main character. I thought the characters were very unique, especially Quina because i had no idea if it was male or female. My vote goes to Kuja, the cutscene of him going into trace and destroying Terra did it for me.

I just realized.......when i was first playing the game, I seriously LOVED the moogles! they were so cute and fuzzy, i just wanted to poke their little red bon bons!......
and Steiner I realized really makes me laugh, he says the most dummist things
blahhh Im playing the game again, which is reminding me how much i love it! and how much I love all the characters....

The strange thing about this game is it has two complete different views from people who have played it. Some love everything about it while some people would call it a complete piece of ****.

Vivi all the way, the little guy was just so interesting.
And the way you could see him maturing (mentally) throughout the course of the game makes me think he was one of the best developed FF characters since FFVII
