Fave Monster or Boss

But the most irritating one would be Ruby... damn things so annoying!!!

i'd have to agree, Ultima and Omega from VIII had the coolest designs, and the best moves(terra break was SWEET!)

Ultima from VIII truly is one of the coolest bosses.....
First time I met him he pwnd me because I kinda ran into him not knowing what I was doing....that was funny as hell =P

my favorite boss would probably be..
adel of ffviii.. after all, she's the most powerful
sorceress and i just love it when i finish her off
easily with the use of squall's limit, the lionheart!

Necron. Even if it was out of no where..I like it better than a lot of final bosses. It doesn't get anymore final than Necron. It's basically "you people have gotten way too out of control, so here is an embodiment of oblivion, the last force before the end. Fight it as a test of strength and will. Failing is not in your best interest as far as existence goes."

And it was a bitch at times too. Well, the first time most people first fight it anyway. Sometimes Grand Cross will simply kill two of your characters, not to mention status effects which poke holes in anything you can't make yourself immune from at random. A lot of the time it's manageable but sometimes you just aren't going to win.

Enough conflict and deeper forces (which are completely believable in such a fantasy game) decide to "make an assesment" on your existence, manifesting in a single ultimately invincible entity. That's how I interpreted it, anyway.

Realy? the first time i fought that "thing" i had no clue what was going on and i totaly pwnd him. and the 10+ times there after that i played FFIX i pwn him. fastest kill time was 5mins or under. cos im just that awesomely over leveld and powerd.^_^'

Anyway, Sephiroth, hands down. First of all I just like the character (he's so. incredibly. hot.). As a boss, though, that Supernova is just supercrazyepic. I haven't made it to him yet in my FFVII 'cause I can't play a lot, but I have a tendency to watch Supernova in action on Youtube over and over and over again.

Ozma from IX. It looked like a trippy bouncy ball! And its a tough challenge! I thought the Kuja battle was pretty bomb. But Sephiroths story of madness always kept me interested. lol
