There are actually three places in which you can get ribbons. But that's the only place that I can remember at the moment. I think that you can also find one on the way to north crater while you're climbing the mountain.

True.

Of course, doing it is the hard part. *laughs*

As far as I recall, there are three ribbons in Final Fantasy VII, excluding this method.

One is in the Temple of the Ancients.

Another is in a hidden area in a cave in the game, which I can't recall right now.

And the third? I can't for the life of me remember.

There used to be a time when I knew this stuff off by heart.

the easiest way and most efficient way is go to the gold saucer and you are sopossed to morph one of the mosters in the battle game, i think its the griphon thing but not sure.

I never bothered with finding them one by one, the only thing you need ribbon for is Ruby anyway, just level Yuffie and Morph the Torns if you don't have the patience to look for them one by one.

Although it would be easier to find them along with your travels but i tend to never but that things in mind. (I always forget it)

1 is the temple of the ancients
2 is those cliffs in disc 2 when you have to keep pressing square to stay warm?
3 I cant remember either

But I do know you can morph the Tonberrys in Northern Cave and they turn into ribbons

the first is the temple of the ancients, the second is on gaea's cliffs, and the third is in the great northern cave.another cool accessory is the tetra elemental, but you have to morph a monster called a cactuer(not cactuar) , and they are on an unmarked island south of the gold saucer area.

Lol you're the first person to actually remember where the third one is, i didn't think anyone would remember the one you find in the Norhern Crater!
