Coolest Antagonist

Well of all things I think that Sephoroth and Edea are the coolest. If you were to line them both up I would say Sephoroth is the cooler.

Edea was pretty cool, up until a certain point in the game. [spoiler]wtf Ultimecia!?[/spoiler]

Plus, women in powerful position make me all hot and bothered. Especially when they're magically fascist and have a parade of gyrating subjects in front of them.

I would say Sephiroth def. But i have always had this thing for Seifer. Though he is more of a transgressor then an actual antagonist he just does it so well.

Of the third-generation antagonists, Kuja was my favourite. But Kefka trumps them all.

i want to say Sephoroth, but kefka would win this one for me only because i played ff6 first, then ff7. kefka was my first final fantasy antagonist. plus his laugh sealed it for me. hahahaha!

Well I think sometimes they make Edea look a little creepy but I think she is still pretty cool.

I gotta say Garland from FFI is one of my favs, you kill him in the beginning, and the bastard comes back at the end and tries to make the entire game repeat endlessly. Thats a whole other step above Seph for trying to kill everything, in my opinion. Not everyday someone tries to make the world repeat...

this guy said it well..though in someway SQUARE didnt have SEIFER be the lead antagonist...he did things that i swear even SEPHIROTH couldnt betray CLOUD that bad..it made me cry when SEIFER went pussy in KINGDOM HEARTS II

Gilgamesh is nothing like Sephiroth. He's a comic antagonist who runs away at every encounter you fight him at, until the very end when [spoiler]he realizes he's been a piece of **** and nobly sacrifices himself for your party[/spoiler]. Also unlike Sephiroth, he actually has a personality.

the thing with SEPHIROTH is that they built him out of antagonist before him..he doesnt exactly have the same characteristic...the antagonist of IV, V, and VI are the main reason why sephiroth is born...they fused all those ideas into one character..just like there doing with the lead of VERSUS XIII...(..a resemblence to CLOUD..).. and you took my phrasing a little too literal
