The first one was nice, but I feel that the light source was too hard and left a bad contrast. I think it could do with some smudging of the light source.
The second one is really nice. I love the flow of the signature. The only thing that's cramping the flow is the lightning brush. It doesn't bother it too much, though. Keep up the good work!
