v5 was my first time as well, though I've seen screenshots of the activity of the old versions versus v5. I gotta say, no contest. It's horrible.

its only because I changed the cookie values from 900 to 1800 back in the day to make it appear like it was more active than it really was.

Basically you stay logged in half the time now.

I came along the Fall of 2004, the 3rd screenshot brings back so many memories......a lot of friends that have simply fallen of the face of the net.
