Gackt is the result of Japanese scientists trying to create a male for their race because most japanese men had died during Pearl harbor and the rest were destroyed during Hiroshima. Because there were no more males to father children, and the women were too afraid at the time to choose a strong male from the west to help them prosper, they began creating new japanese males. But because the last real japanese man had died in 1945, most of the modern Japanese women forgot what a real japanese man looked like whether it be because they were too young to remember or whatever. Gackt is the result of their years of research and creation. However, Gackt is not complete as he is stuck in the perpetual state of appeared adolesence or as I have officially named them, Manboy.

Actually, this is only partly correct. The Japanese scientists based their new man design off of the female since that's all they had to work with and so what they ended up creating was what we now know as Gackt, he's actually about 60 years old.

And the reason there are some real Japanese men today is because back in the 70's they discovered Pat Morita living on a secluded island south of the Japanese mainland. And as we all know, this lead him to later star in the amazing Karate Kid films. Thank God for Pat Morita
