Well its only really "confessing" if you are truly sorry for it. So if you view homosexuality as a sin (as it does in the eyes of the church), then by doing it, confessing it but then again not really feeling sorry for it, its pretty much lying.

Well I don't confess that I'm a bisexual because I don't find it a sin.

And what religion do you hold to? You seem from past talks to be "christian," but christianity holds that homosexuality is wrong. I'd like to know what form of christianity you actually believe in.

well it seems like your catholic and i have read some of the catholic bible,i know that it has a couple more books than the christian bible. God created adam and eve, not adam and steve, he wanted man and women together, if he wanted man and man together he would not have made eve. in Genesis 19:4-9 it talks about men wanting to get in lots house to do wicked things with these men, but lot says to not do these wicked things, i have 2 daughters do it with them. He is saying it is wrong to have men with another man. later on in the chapter God destroys these men, so i think God is against being . So you can go against God if you want, but according to YOUR RELIGION you would be going to h e l l, that is if your religion is correct. so do you believe everything the catholic church teaches? like going to church and doing good works? can you tell me where in the bible it says that you do need to go to church and do good works to go to heaven?

Johnny, rather than trying to convince him that homosexuality is wrong, why not tell him about Christ and who he is. You're a sinner too Johnny, even now, so please don't treat Larsa as if he's more of one than you. The way you're going about this now is offensive and condescending and isn't going to make him interested in listening to what you have to say.

I agree with Ex Deo, Johnny I understand what you may be trying to do but I think attacking someone isn't any way to deal with something you disagree with. Being quite a strong Catholic myself, I used to think when I was younger that I'd live a great life and such though after a while events happen and you just question a few things and sometimes have a loss in faith. Larsa if we are still members in about five years or if this forum is still around I will ask you the question again because things change. Not that I went on my religion I still am a strong believer of God.

I believe its fine that we can commit a sin as long as its not a moral sin for example murder...well you know the commandments. If we were never to commit minor sins then what use is there in choice?

I would love to take you p on that offer for I belive also that thoughts change and sometimes it just takes time.

And may I say that I refuse to agree with many things in the Catholic church. Things that I belive contradict the belifes that they enforce. Thoughout my life I have always gone against the majority because people think that the majority will always get what they want but one single man thinking a certain way totaly different from the majority can change the minds of millions upon millions of other people. Even though it may be harder and longer for the minority to get what they want it just shows that they are stronger and can probably enforce a stronger rule. I mean would you rather be around someone who got independence in a day or someone who perservered for a decade just to get what they want?
