Wow... Must have been a slow news day. Sucks to be the "hacker" who's getting death threats (though he can't be much of a "hacker" if they got his home address...) but really, WTF? How is this even news?

And I love how they open with the line "treating the web like a real-life video game". Where can I buy that game exactly? I don't recall one where you trash MySpace pages and steal passwords... XD

Granted, these guys are dicks, but come on...

This is nothing. It's far better than reporting about Paris Hilton or other "infotainment" ****.

Sadly, however, standards are dropping drastically across the country, in both local stations and cable "news."

Frankly, I don't rely on any of the local or cable news channels for information. It's sad when some of the best news coverage and commentary comes from The Daily Show.

Yeah I too find myself catching more of my news from the Daily show and Colbert Report than actual news stations. Especially fox news and their attempt at the 1/2 hour news hour, as Lewis Black said "you know what would be fake news on Fox? Real news!"

The same goes for me; I can only be interested in news shows like The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Stations like Fox news are like other stations that only talk about celebrities and food. I can't see how food poisoning haves anything to do with world news, and I also can't see how Paris Hilton's arrest haves anything to do with what's more serious than her bull ****.
