Default The Failure Thread

Anything that makes you think "What an idiot", "How could I have been so STUPID?!" or go "Fail.", "PHAIL." should be posted here.

Today, I had to walk someone through on the science of getting a video game disc out of it's case.

And then, I went shopping and was writing down the list when I had a realization...

Black Metal Frame Sunglasses, oval and more oblong/square-ish pairs
Black small/flat heeled boots
Leather gloves, black and blue
Fingerless black gloves
Black turtle-neck
Black skivvy
White undershirt/thermal undershirt
Computer parts
New toolkit

Plus I picked up a new trenchcoat...

I had the realization that my clothing shopping turned out like a Wesker outfit, and when I had bought some of the stuff (excluding the leather gloves, leather boots, turtle-neck jumper and sunglasses - going to get those tomorrow), whilst walking home... my Mother turned to me and went "Who are you going to be stalking? You've gotten a turtle-neck, skivvies, trenchcoat, gloves...", "... I needed new ones.", "STALKER!... I bet you're going to stalk that blonde guy (co-worker that dresses like Wesker).", "I beg your pardon? I was simply buying clothes! *End of discussion damn it!*" My own failure for the day!

... There's lots of fail from today. Too much to count.

Hmmmm I don't seem to get the FAILURE in there....I'm slow these days....too slow

Except I would consider it a failure BIG TIME to run into my mother...but that's different in your case I guess lol

Wesker fan, writing out a shopping list and pretty much was buying the items for one of his outfits without even NOTICING. Wesker reference image, to what I'm meaning by my accidental shopping list. Also taking into consideration that the trenchcoat I bought is in a similar black/blue pattern (not a leather one, but I also had on my list a custom-made leather one too!), which I picked up and went "I like this. *Adds to other items*" before I finally realized when I laid my purchases out on my bed when I got home... "Ah, damn it. Wesker-style. *Facepalm*".

Which also makes sense as to why one of my co-workers was going "Noooooooo, don't open that door!" whenever I was opening drawers and stuff today, as it turns out that I was already DRESSED like him and I still hadn't noticed UNTIL I got home and saw the stuff I bought, tried on the trenchcoat again and that's when it REALLY hit me. Pinned + Slicked back hair, black clothes, black small heeled boots, black gloves, black metal frame sunglasses, black turtle neck over the top of the black shirt... plus a black/blue trenchcoat... is a perfect description of what Wesker wears in cold weather.

The matter was made WORSE after realizing I had picked up the wrong bag and had taken my Tricell bag to work, only FURTHERING my failure today as I did NOT NOTICE A THING and couldn't work out why everyone was making Resident Evil jokes at work today.

Now, THAT was some failure there. ((I'm not that old, so I'm still living with my parents - so it was my Mother and myself shopping today)).

O_o yes, one might call that a failure,,,,not really an epic one though so you should be fine :]

I know you do,would be weird if they were running around at your place making noise when you're trying to record something. lol

EDIT: Evacuation Plan Fail « FAIL Blog: Pictures and Videos of Owned, Pwnd and Fail Moments
This is an example of what I'd call a failure lol
The site : failblog.org is full of stuff like that....epic fails included lol

I guess so, well there actually is a recording like that. My Father would do the jokes, if I was still dressed like that at the current time.

Damn it. There's some failure there. Of course, how could I forget the FailBlog?

Had a bit of a failure yesterday...

Was multitasking...4 poker tables, skype, icq and then the phone rang.....
I managed to pick it up and answer the call but somehow forgot I had to talk to it, so I was just holding it in my hand....

Took me about 10 minutes to realize I had forgotten about it and I called back lol

Reminded me of the HUGE fail I did in cards the other day.

Was playing Spades. Was NOT fusing with Ada in order to use her spy tactics, because I thought I was cool or something. I only had one bid, because I only had one good card, an Ace of Clubs. So I'm waiting to drop my Ace bomb, and someone leads Clubs. I put...a THREE.

Wtf was I trying to prove with that?! D: I never got my one book because I decided to do that (when I threw the Ace someone cut). And then I decided maybe fusing with Ada was the way to go. *nod*

But still, that move MURDERED me for like the whole game ._.

Hahahaha.

Phail Bastards Incorporated phone company disconnecting me by accident.

Followed up by my accidentally dressing like Wesker at work (since I got a new pair of boots) and one of my bosses whacked a badge on me when I was busy, I didn't notice it but it was a Wesker badge and I had no idea WHY people kept on saying and/or calling me Wesker all day or why any of the visiting scientists and people were giving me crap all day until I took my jacket and vest off and saw the damn badges, stickers and crap people had been putting on me all day. DX FAIL there.

And fail for the fact that I grab clothes out of my wardrobe and accidentally cosplay without realizing it.

I don't find that fail at all. xD I purposefully cosplay with outfits in my closet. It's soooo fun.

Uh monumental Haunted Mansion failure at Disneyworld: They let more people in than there were enough doom buggies for >_> So we had to stand in a HUGE GINORMOUS CROWD...giant no for Aurora. I was freaking out and beginning to shriek and scream. And then when we got to this long corridor we were supposed to be going to the buggies from (we couldn't go ANYWHERE though on account of the huge giant crowd), another door opened, containing...ANOTHER HUGE GIANT CROWD that they were trying to MERGE with our huge giant crowd. I shrieked.

Also, the other crowd couldn't fit into our crowd (WELL I WONDER WHY), so they were wedged inbetween the two rooms, most of them being in the other room. And then K2 shouts "THOSE PEOPLE BETTER MOVE THE ELEVATOR'S COMING DOWN." Not a good thing to shout around me. I look, and the elevator IS COMING DOWN. I think of the Jill sandwich and scream "WATCH OUT!!!" at that crowd, who proceeds to look at me like I just told them it's raining tomato sauce and meatballs. The elevator stopped, luckily.

Epic fail ahead:

Ok this guy on another forum, in September 2008 he posted: (Translated)

"Ok I have a problem, I won a 17.000$ worth WSOP-package (Means entry plus Hotel plus spending money for the Main event of the World Series Of Poker) in a freeroll (Means he basically competed with housands of others for it, probably over 10000 people, without having to spend a single $ himself). But I don't want to leave my gf...since she's pregnant and probably going to have he baby around that time. So what should I do? Go or stay with her?"

Now there were a few people telling him that she really should understand if he went, after all it's the WSOP main event, with 1st place prize being some 9.000.000$ or to take her with him etc.etc.

A few days ago he showed up in the same thread:
"Dam I completely had forgotten about this. I let the 2nd place finisher of the freeroll have it...on the good site I now have a perfectly healthy son. Too bad me not going wasn't enough proof of my love for her, and my gf is long gone "

Example of how Aurora is constantly full of fail:

Last night there was a thunderstorm, so I had to turn all my electronics off sans my lamp, which is on the other side of the Temple. I was about to go make a logbook entry and I was reading through older entries. And I noticed that there were entries written in black ink that I CLEARLY remembered writing in blue. So I was like "OH MY GOD WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY EYES OH MY GOD *WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY EYESSSS!!!*" and Zoey was like "...Try moving where there's light." So I went over to where the lamp was and EUREKA! THE BLACK INK MAGICALLY TURNED BACK TO BLUE. xDD

Hahaha.

Oh, I had a bit of fail today...

I was working on trying to do a character voice for a dub, and I couldn't remember how I did the voice...

And every, EVERY SINGLE RECORDING sounded like Alexia OR even "Alfrexia" Ashford.
ASHFORD.

Oh my GOD. I tried to imitate Alexia before and FAILED, and I was trying to come up with a suitable voice for a character and ended up sounding like an Ashford.

*Banging head on desk*

Link to how the Ashfords' sound in RE:CV

Quite so.

A couple of bits of recent fail... I kept on hitting my head on stuff at work and when I hit my head on the door someone called out "Your future hinges on this!" (semi-Wesker quote).

And my singing is a failure. Hahahaha.

Haha that's okay I tripped over a DOOR the other day. I am not making this up.

Yesterday I kinda failed a bit when I was at the beach. I was leaning over to get a shell and I thought it was cool to not watch the waves or something. Cue a wave hitting me in the nose. xD

A bit of fail here.

I'm trying to be quiet, because as I post this it's 2:20 A.M. and I've been capturing game footage with my audio muted and I go to YouTube and automatically turn the volume up on full and watch someone's video.

"Oh hey there..."

*Door bursts open*
"I TOLD YOU TO GO TO SLEEP, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU UP TALKING TO HIM AT THIS F*CKING HOUR?!?!?!"

"... I'm not.... I'm on YouTube.... because I can't sleep..... >_<;;;;;"

Father & Myself: ".... Fail. Night, go get some sleep."
