Bare in mind its only early days and it can all change but with Mourinho's departure from Chelsea i think its going to be a 3 horse race between Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool but i guess we have to wait and see.

Apparently Abromovich is lining up Marco Van Basten to come in to manage Chelsea- so Grant seems to be just a short term solution.

Villa had a good result at the weekend 2-0 win over Everton. Gareth Barry was immense.

Arsenal are my pick for the title personally, don't know if they'll keep this sort of form going for an entire year and they'll need to keep Fabregas fit but it's not out their reach. As long as Chelsea or Liverpool don't win it I'll be happy.

The situation at Chelsea I'd imagine would deter people from joining them, it was pretty clear for a long while the manager wasn't 100% in control of his side of the job so why put yourself through that? Oh that's right, the money.

Pretty happy with Rangers progress these days although we slipped to Motherwell yesterday, at least we're competing at a good level and taking bad results better than that wee twat in charge of Celtic.

You have to admit Kris Boyd really deserves to be shot some times i mean i'd rather have Sebo than him. I think we'll be back on top after the old firm match next week is it?

Just finished watching Aston Villa Tottenham i have a habbit of turning games on at the late stages and seeig a few gaol what a finish to a great match from what i saw anyway. Martin O'neil.....

O neill according to reports is one of the front runners for the England job, which should soon be vacant due to the ineptness of Mclaren. I hope O Neill stays at the Villa
.

Aparently Capello is favourite to get the England job as O'Neill said no to it a Mourinho laughed at it. I'm glad its back to normal domestic football here tomorrow 12:30 i'll get the Rangers Falkirk game then to The Kelty Hearts game Oh yeah.

Shame really, Mourinho as England manager would have been much lulz and would have rekindled my interest in international football.

I heard today that Alan Shearer was in the line-up for the job. Personally i don't think he'll get it but i think he'd do well.

Fabio Capello has got the job- and boy will he be the richer for it!. Mourinho didnt want it, there are no English managers at the moment who are experienced enough so the FA had no choice really.

Apparently he can speak a little English- though he thinks he can master it in a month! Good luck Fabio!

It looks as though John Collins could be the next Scotland boss as he resigned from HIbs today.

Some reports say he has resigned due to the Hibs board not giving him money in January for Transfers, but like you say it could be about the Scotland job.

Apparently Neil Lennon is interested in the Job. I hope he doesn't get it.

Unlucky to Aberdeen who got drawn against Bayern Munich in the Uefa cup after such a great performance last night it doesn't look good for them now.

Rangers got Pathaniakos which shouldn't be to hard a draw if we just keep up the good work and don't play people like Boyd, Thomson or Whittakar.

Where as i hope Barca do a good job of burying Celtic.

The transfer window is now open and hopefully we will see some major action transfer wise, especially from the Villa.

Not much transfer news from Scotland only that I'm glad Alan Hutton rejected a move to Spurs.

Not much has happened here since the death of Phil O'Donnell.

Puerta, now O donnell- plus other footballers have collapsed on the pitch as well. Sad indeed.

Onto more lighter news, i see Andreas Hinkel has joined Celtic. Pretty good deal.
