You sit there watching an incredible athlete do their thing and think "I just wish that were me!"... what are you watching?
I get that feeling when I watch my housemate play lacrosse. I've just started and I'm determined to make it onto one of the uni teams next year. It's such an amazing sport - basically rugby with a weapon... hardcore...
I'm in colorguard if you consider that a sport considering we do push-ups just as much as the football players, and we have to eat healthy foods so we don't pass out at practices. lol.

It's a sport called foot-volley, think volleyball except you have to use your feet instead of your hands. They play it in Brazil and other regions in South America. Its a fun sport, too bad i suck at it.
Fencing. This sport is all about speed and aggression while also incorporating a fair amount of strategy. I have yet to even pick up a foil or sabre, but when I go to College this year I hope to join the fencing society (DCU Dublin). My prospective college isn't really know for it's fencing prowess, but I hope I can win a view pieces of silver in the coming years, that is, if I'm any good. I guess I'll be relying on my years of Badminton to hopefully translate into a decent enough technique. What ? badminton and fencing have more in common than you think.
