Default The Office (US)

So as you can see by my avatar, I freaking love the Office haha. I wanted to find something with Steve Carell in it, because I love the man, and jackpot.

Does anyone know when the next new episode is? There hasn't been one for almost a month now, I need my office fix.

Much better than the UK version (except that one episode where Gervais plays guitar, that was hilarious).

I don't watch it on TV, ever. I just download them each week.

I watched the US version on some site, and all I can say is that the boss was a major *******. Talks about professionality to Pam when he himself a complete dickwad in tinfoil. LOL

I LOVE the Office! It's one of the best shows on TV now, hands down.

And I'll agree, it is much better than the original British series! I was very disappointed when I watched the British one, I was expecting a lot more from the series that inspired this great one!

I'm not sure when the next new episode is either, it better be soon though, lol.

I got caught up on the entire show inside of a week, and now I watch them each week as they come on. It's probably my most favourite comedy show of all time, at this point.

We should all join the Dwight Army of Champions.

I adore The Office <333333

It is my favorite t.v. show right now Steve Carrell is the shiznit ^^

I rented the U.K. version of the office, and I do think it's funny, it just takes some getting used to after you've seen one cast do it. It seems, well, foreign lol

What I found was really funny though, a few people were telling me how crappy the U.S. version was, when, if you sit down and watch both, you see that they are so incredibly similar O_o Even some of their mannerisms are almost identical. Jim and Tim even resemble each other (more than just the names xD) Ricky Gervais is great <33 And I don't know who's more screwed up, David Brent or Michael Scott xD

I will say even though I do like Gareth(sp?) Dwight totally owns him as Assistant (to the) Regional Manager :P

I do think that Steve Carrell's quirky persona is going to run it's course eventually, much like John Heder's Napoleon Dynamite characterization in every movie he does.

But Napoleon Dynamite wasn't funny to begin with.

This show is amazing. Dwight really is hilarious.

How about that episode where he tries to become boss of the whole branch?

Or that one episode where he thinks the FBI are giving him missions.

I like it when Jim pulls really funny prank on Dwight and when Dwight tries to get revenge, it doesn't work

Everyone reliable has recommended this show to me, I just have to un-Jewish myself and rent it.

I actually disagree with you there, most of Steve Carrell's characters he plays are actually quite different. He has some similar manurisms but compare 40 Year Old Virgin to The Office to Little Miss Sunshine (he's brilliant in it), I think he actually is a decent actor, and not just a type comedian.
