My Sassy Girl
I've been looking for this film for the past 2 years or so but I had no luck as it's a Korean film. Never seen it in the world cinema section anywhere but there was something about it that really made me wanna see it. I usually hate romantic comedies but this one looked different, it actually looked funny for one thing. I watched it last night and by god I wasn't disappointed. Maybe I'm overreacting but I'd say that it could well be my favourite film of all time, I'm just not sure about the ending. Even though I liked it I'm sure it would have been ebtetr if it had ended about 2 minutes earlier.
10/10 and may be a little more.

Criterion did a great job restoring this film, as they do all Kurosawa films. I love it how they’re able to make the best films even better. Anyway, this is another classic (Legenedary) Mifune-Kurosawa film. It should be required viewing by all movie fans. Now time for Sanjuro. 10/10

the movie was great! the best movie of 2007. the movie is beautiful to look at and all the battle/war scenes were some of the best i ever seen. seriously this movie was GREAT. i learned about the Spartans in world history class, i knew that they where badasses, but damn this movie captured their lifestyle and made them seem like one lethal clan. i am definitely going to see it again but this time in the imax theater. THIS IS SPARTA!

I just finished watching Jane Eyre and it's a good movie but I had already read the book about a year ago and it's a major comparison. For me I like to watch the movie before I read the book because all book to movies have some sort of flaw and if you watch the movie first you aren't as disappointed.

I wouldn't say it captured their lifestyle to a T. It's more based off of Frank Miller than the history channel. It did get a good chunk of what the Spartan's life was like but on other things, it was rather hit or miss. Still an epic movie especially with the beatuiful choreographed battle scenes.

Kill Bill vol1
Watched it again yesterday. Good movie, but some scenes are just rediculous. The second one is a lot better.

Personally I preferred the fact that it was a bit more ridiculous. II had too many drawn out scenes that weren't needed and weren't even funny, especially the last scene. I liked KB as a whole but that last scene pissed me off.
Attack the Gas Station
Possibly the best name for any film ever, especially with the tag line: "Why do they atatck the gas station? For fun!" I'd heard of this a few years ago but never watched it, I downloaded it from the same place as My Sassy Girl but I was slightly disappointed with this one. It gets great reviews everywhere and although it was exactly what I expected, a film with no real point does get a bit boring after 2 hours.

KB obviously wasn't supposed to be even remotely realistic. Violence was pretty obviously employed mostly for the purposes of humour, even more so than in Pulp Fiction.
I liked the ending, but I'll agree it probably wasn't as strong as the rest of the film.

Yeah i know that it isn't supposed to be even the least realistic, cause if that was the case the movie would have failed very badly. But for me, it still gets a bit too much sometimes. I still like it though.
Equilibrium
One of my absolute fav movies for some reason. And Christian Bale is one of my fav actors.

I know I saw a movie recently, but I can't remember what it was, so I'll go with the last one I do remember watching. Casino Royale. It was a pretty nice movie, not the BEST Bond movie, but damn well done. He seemed more badass in this movie, and the fact he wasn't in plush suits the whole movie through was a nice changed. Plus there was some good humour in there to like the scene he was being tortured.

Watched Advent Children again yesterday, and i actually thought it was better this time than the first time i saw it. Might be because i watched it with proper subtitles this time, so i understood more of it. But it's still a movie that never should have been done
