Actually the Prestige seemed like the Illusionist, it came out first =P
And for me I saw in the theaters 300, and holy **** I loved it. Really accurate except the prophecy and a complete orgy of action, murder and death. Great flick, a true film for a Man.

300 was a bit hit or miss on most parts although they got the general thing of it right. Spartans pwn.
I watched Casino Royale finally and I must say I was quite impressed. I thought that one chase scene in Africa would make for a kick ass Adidas commercial. Another excellent spy movie I just watched. The Good Shepherd which chronicles one of the founders of the CIA. It's not quite as action packed as Casino Royale but it's one of those spy movies that isn't meant to be. The dialogue is perfect and is what helps make this an excellent spy movie. As the commercial said, it is like a classical spy movie meets The Godfather. Definitely a perfect 10

Lucky Number Slevin
Awesome film. Great characters and dialogue, really good acting and a story that you may guess parts of but would never build the entire picture. Some nice direction and cinematography too. 9 out of 10

Blades of Glory
7/10 Some really funny parts that I just died at, but also the humor seemed to try to hard in some parts. Will Ferrell is a sex addict (apart from his ice skating talents) so I wouldn't recomend it for anyone with kids. It is a must see for any fan of Will though.

Really nice animation, using the now default method of incorporating cel animation with cgi work, and some surprisingly good voiceovers by a well known cast. I watched the directors cut with 20+ extra minutes and I can't help but feel that half of that should have been taken out as the film drags at times. 7.5 out of 10

Are we done yet?
This movie would've been so much better if Ashleigh's cousin, Stacey wasn't being a bitch about wanting to go home during the movie. So that made it kind of suck. I especially loved the part when the kid shot a couple of nails into the sky with the nailgun and a bird came down and hit the floor. That was the part where I was like: "THAT WAS MOTHER****ING AWESOME!!!!" and I got bitched at for using bad language and being loud. Overall, the movie was a 6/10.

Man on the Moon
I loved it. Best role I've ever seen Jim Carrey in, ever. I'm so glad he didn't just break into a bad rehash of Ace Ventura like he does in every other movie. 8.5 out of 10

Tale of Two Sisters 9/10
A Korean film that was in my collection but i never got around to watching til the other day and what a superb film it is, it comes under the banner of psychological horror, and like Audition is a slow burner which builds up.

8/10 A highly entertaining movie that had great bits of action and yet so very emotional scenes. It was a little lacking in dialogue and a bit too predictable but otherwise a lovely little movie that will find its way to my shelf when it comes out.

I was in a Denzel Washington mood the other day and watched the brilliant Man on Fire, one of his best films in my opinion. I dont think the critics particularly loved it, but ive neverf put much faith in what they have to say..xD

Yeah I just watched that too! But more recently I saw the Manchurian Candidate, another Denzel flick. THAT was really good, its a more psychological movie about government testing and black ops stuff. Very well done, 8.5/10
