Iron Man: 2008

This may not be news to some but for those who haven't been keeping up on tabs, Iron Man will now be on the big screen in 2008. Early screne shots have shown that they plan on using one of the original suits pictured in this link.

Bloody hell, that suit is ancient. I would imagine that they would be using one of the far nicer, modern suits later on.

Most likely. The suit in the link is the first Suit Tony created in the original story line. The red and yellow one would come later and it'll probably be shown in the movie as well.

I've known about this for ages.

An even bigger surprise is that Robert "The Mugshot" Downey Jr. will be playing the big, drunk kind-of robot.

Dude, Robert Downey Jr. rocks. Anyway, I'm definitely excited about this; but, I hope that is only the initial suit and not the one used throughout the entire film.

Why would they have CGs of the newer Red and yellow model if they weren't gonna use it?

I dunno, my problem with Iron Man is that he's just a little bit too invincible for me to really care about his character. I mean, he's like Bruce Wayne except he wears a Tank instead of a bat costume... Bleh.
