I rather enjoyed this movie. Aside from the obvious love of bare-chested men and swords the story was moving and the action flowed nicely. I liked how truly ingenius the guy was and how he used their own bloodlust against them. The only thing I guess I didn't like was that it was a little predictable and the ending stated way more than was needed. Yes, we KNOW he was trying to find his path. Yes, we aren't stupid. :P Other than that though, bravo, this movie is definitely gonna find its way on my movie list.

I heard it sucked, but it doesn't get any much more grim and frostbitten than a viking killing vikings, except for vikings killing exorbitant amounts of Christians.

Haven't seen it and don't intend to see it even once it hits DVD.
