Anyone else here a fan of the belgian detective and his little grey cells?
My favorite actor to protray him is definately David Suchet but some of the others have been good, like Albert Finney in the 1974 version of Murder on the Orient Express. I'm quite glad that I finally got freeview because ITV3 shows a lot of Poirot. I've read quite a few of the books as well, my aunt has an extensive collection of Agatha Christie. Sherlock Holmes is another series that I really enjoy. I've read all the short stories and novels and I'm quite interested in Victorian London so it's extra good for me for it to be set there, especially since a lot of the places they talk about in the stories are still around. Side fact: The building in which they have Poirot's apartments located in the Suchet series of Poirot is right by where I work :3 |

David Suchet is awesome as poirot. i've never read the books though.
Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes is awesome. one of the best crime series ever filmed. as soon as my sister finishes the books i'm gonna read them. he strikes me as a remarkably modern character. he has his deep rooted flaws in the guise of a cocaine addiction, yet overcomes it to solve crime. the only one i dislike is Miss Marple. |
