Default Live Free or Die Hard

I'm going to see a pre-screening of the next Die Hard flick this evening. Judging from the trailers, I doubt I'll be too impressed. Over at Rotten Tomatoes, out of 14 reviews, 18% are positive, but at this point that means nothing.

At the very least, hopefully the action is good. I don't really expect anything worth getting excited over concerning the plot or dialogue, but this is only an action movie, and Die Hard at that. I liked the other three films so I hope this one can deliver and isn't just a lame cash-in with the franchise name.

Anyone planning on seeing this? If it weren't for the passes I got, I wouldn't be.

I heard a rumour that Jaleel White (URKEL, MOTHER****ER!) will be making a cameo in the movie. If so, that would be sweet. I'd watch it.

Since all these old movies are resurfacing lately, I had a dream that another Ghostbusters movie was coming out, and also a Back to the Future IV.

I'll be going to see Die Hard 4 definitely. It's not about plot or dialogue in films like Die Hard, it's just about the action, and from what I've seen (admittedly not much) the action looks good, so this should be a film worth watching.

Yeah, it's definitely worth seeing. The action is completely outrageous, even more so than in the past 3 Die Hard films, but that's why it's so fun.

This ought to hold anyone over till this Thursday when Transformers comes out and the next Harry Potter, both of which should rock.

Also, there's a trailer for the new Hitman film based on the games, in the previews. Though it's probably going to suck.

I'll probably download it if anything, I refuse to pay 9 dollars to sit through a crappy movie especially since our theatre sucks.

Though the action does look coool. I'm a chinse.

I went and saw it with the folks. The action's pretty good. Story's eh but it moves along with the action. And yes "Yippy-ki-yay Mother ****er!" is in it.

Sorry, no Urkel. Or if he was in it, I missed it. Guess you'll just have to wait for Family Matters: The movie to see him on the big screen.

I'm afraid not. But that would totally have rocked. Have a reunion between John Mclane and officer Al Powell (Reginaald VelJohnon), where they team up again 20 years later to kick more terrorist ass! It would've been legendary. Maybe they're saving it for Die Hard 5?

You think it was good enough for sequel demand for that to happen?

I'd say so, and judging by it's box office returns this weekend, I'd say so. Sadly, Transformers is out tomorrow and is going to kick it's ass.

Even sadder since, Live Free or Die Hard was a much more entertaining movie. Flawed and just a dumb action movie, but fun as all ****.

This move sucks as hell. The only good thing in it is Mary E. Winstead.

Willis says he is up for doing a fifth. If they do do it, it would make sense if he ended up sacrificing himself at the end and hopefully that will be it for the Die Hard series. Its been enjoyable and even Live Free had some moments but enoughs enough.
