It has PS1 Graphics and scenes from different movies. Plus they killed off Cyclops in the last X-men movie (anticlimactically I must point out) so why would they bring him back? Also, they probably called X-Men 3 "The last stand" for a reason.

Well we never really saw cyclopse die so he could not be dead and don't you remember the VERY LAST SCENE in the the third movie?

It was pretty much assumed he was dead what with Jean going Pheonix on him and the only thing that remained was his glasses. That and the fact we saw Proffesor X die off. If they really tried they could do what they did in the comics of him existing in an alternate dimension but they ruined that by killing off Jean.

They ruin many things from a comic to movie or book to movie.

that's why hopefully the last one will be the last one. I'll recognize movies non-canon to the comics but killing off Professor X and Jean and Cyclops in the movies themselves and then try to bring them back is ridiculous.

The end scene of the third movie left a cliffhanger, so there will probably be a fourth movie some day. But killing off some of the main chars, especiall Xavier, was a stupid move if they want to make another film.

Definatly. They shouldn't have made storm such a big character.

Professor X is definitely still alive at the end of the third film. After the ending credits, there's a brief scene wherein the paitent described as a "vegetable" in the earlier part of the film is shown waking up with what is clearly Charles' voice.

I'm gonna put a spoiler warning in the title of this thread, 'cause it needs one.

As far as sequels go, spinoffs relating to Magneto and Wolverine have been officially announced. I'm sure they'll do another numbered entry in the franchise eventually, as well. Still, I don't have much hope left for it. 3 was pretty awful compared to the first two films, really, which isn't surprising when you consider they brought in a hack like Brett Ratner to replace the brilliant Bryan Singer.

Never saw that scene after the credits...And yes the third one wasn't as good as the first two, so i can't say i got much hope about the fourth one either.

Ya it's rare that people can make movie all the way to three and people are still craving more.

well, the third was the most successful at the box office, so I'll be highly surprised if people aren't craving more. Despite the absolute lack of characterisation and a credible plot, a lot of people apparently enjoyed that film the most, for some reason.

It seems to be just parts of X3, combined with parts of some other movie.

there was no real character development in X-3 either. The entire film was mainly the resolution piece of ending Magneto's war, mutants and humans being able to co-exist, Bobby gets Rouge and kicks that fire kid's ass. etc. with that, there wouldn't really be a need for a fourth since the third was mainly resolution.

On a different tangeant but within the Xmen universe, it seems Fox are pinning their hopes on Wolverine to save the franchise and it seems they want to make it as soon as Jackman has finished working with Luhrman on the film Australia- another rush job it seems:

Can Wolverine Save The X-Men?

I enjoyed X3 sheerly for Magneto finally flaunting his owsum skeelz. I don't think they needed to incorporate character development due to it... technically being the final stage for them all, in a manner of speaking. They'd all faught their demons, I believe. 'cept Jean...

I'm greatly anticipating the release of Magneto's spinoff.
