Default Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix

Is anyone going to see this. It looks pretty good. I am a fan of Harry Potter. I have always been impressed with the movies, and they always get better.

I want to see it, but not until I've seen all the rest first. I have them all on DVD, but I've only seen 1 and 3 so far. And I'll probably end up waiting until I can get this one on DVD aswell.

I'm torn between reading the book first, or watching the film. Both have characteristics individual to itself, but I can't decide which I'd prefer.

Though, I'm a sucker for flashy visuals. I'll most likely watch the film first regardless of deliberation to the contrary.

CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT [shot]

I already read the book and now I CAN'T WAIT to see the movie. Even if it's not that good, I can still brag that I was the one who started the line at my local movie theater to see it.

I just wanna see the bit where Harry is writing and it rips and scars into his arm what he's writing.

When I said read, I meant reread.

It's quite good, even though it's like 23923850986509e=mc^2 pages long.

Im going to see it but i hate it when they leave so many important bits out. Like in the 4th they left out crucial bits. And from what i hear they have done the same in this film. I plan to go and enjoy it, ( hope they nail the sirus bit well ) but it will only annoy me after when there are huge bits missing. Children of the future wont read the books, they will no doutly watch the films and if the films miss out vital parts then they will not feel the magic.

As Harry Potter movies go, this one was... really bad, I'm sorry to say. They left out a ridiculous amount of information, and changed so much. WTF was up with
using Cho to uncover the DA? They barely mentioned Tonks... and poor Kreature was glossed over like he was nothing at all.
Leaving things out is one thing, but they ALTERED some rather well-known details...

I will say that Umbridge was superbly casted, however. They couldn't have chosen a better actress for the role.

I beg to differ on her being the best but she was damn good.

THE MOVIE SUCKED BALLS AND DICK AT THE SAME TIME!!! The first director (Christorpher Columbus) was a great director for the beginging movie bu then they went off and got other damn directors and ****ed up the movies!

I'm still of the opinion that one movie per book just isn't sufficient (much like LotR). Especially the later, longer, books. They could easily have broken 4 and 5 into two movies each.

A couple of the pervious HP movies *cough*3 and 4*cough* have been confusing and ill-paced... but this one, if you haven't read the book, you wouldn't have a chance in hell of figuring out WTF is going on.
And might I add that I am EXTREMELY angry about the lack of the pensieve scene in Snape's office. I wanted to see him spitting mad as he dragged Harry out and hurled him out of the office. And it's really going to **** up the 7th movie, not explaining the pensieve better than they have. They barely mentioned it in the 4th movie and it wasn't in the 5th at all.
After I got done reading The Deathly Hallows the other day, I kept thinking how bad of an idea it was to begin making the Harry Potter films without being able to see where Rowling was taking the story and being able to know what elements to include in the film and which ones to leave out because the films have left out a great deal which are significant to the final tale.

Supposedly Rowling had major input on the movies... but then again, you never know what's going to wind up on the cutting room floor when all is said and done. I've be very interested to know what she thinks of movie number 5.

HOW could they leave that out? Now the last movie is going to be confusing as hell.
