On some swedish sites there was (like six months ago) news about a GoW movie. Was that just rumors or is there actually coming a movie? Have you guys heard anything?

You say you heard this 6 months ago, but it seems news actually spread around 2005.

A film adaptation was announced in 2005. Nearly one week prior to the release of God of War II in the U.S., creator David Jaffe confirmed that a completed script had been penned by David Self and would be sending it out to an unspecified "huge-name director.". Jaffe also expressed interest in seeing actor Djimon Hounsou in the role of the protagonist, Kratos. "You'd have to get past the fact that Djimon is African American and Kratos is Greek, but in terms of the way he looks and his acting ability and his physique — I can't think of a better choice." Furthermore, on Comic-con 2007 Game head's Geoff Keighley introduced creator of God of War, David Jaffe to infamous film-director, Uwe Boll. David was asked by Geoff "Would you really let him direct God of War?", David answers "If it was my call you ask me? Truthfully? No, I would not." Uwe replied "Wait until you see Postal, then you judge." David also confirmed that Universal Studios is behind the making of the God of War movie and that he has no idea "Where it's at".

So...yay? I think this ought to be pretty good, although I can't fully confide in that, since it is a video game - and we all know what movies based off video games tend to turn out like.

I think they might be able to pull it off, if it was written right. I'm very choosey about these sort of things, though.

I really don't think this would be so much of a big deal what with the things that can be done with computers (Not that I would mind if they didn't change the way he looked or anything.). They made Lou Ferrigno into the Hulk back in the 70's, didn't they? ...Or was that 80's? Doesn't really matter, I guess.

Can't say I have, but if there is that would be cool.
